As you know, the older musical instruments, the more valuable they become. On the other hand, many of the electronic musical instruments so far have become obsolete due to frequent model changes and industrial designs. And many cheap e-drums are on sale, but we lament that they continue to be consumed like fast food. What EFNOTE always aims for is the attractive sound unique to that model, the design that can be loved for a long time. At the same time, we will continue to look for improvements and refine the firmware to maximize the potential of the model. Because, we respect the culture of music and the history of musical instruments.

EFNOTE has an important theme of continuing to design in the same language. It is one of the EFNOTE identities that the elements necessary for drums are consistently designed regardless of the price range. This concept is repeatedly expressed not only in the overall design but also in the details. On the other hand, sometimes electronic drums are prioritized for industrial reasons over what they should be. For example, plastic shells without lugs, fan-shaped cymbals or too small toms. And they are unnaturally mixed into one kit to achieve the price. So, if you want beautiful electronic drums, first make sure that each brand's design makes sense.

Has there been such a compact high-end drum brain? EFNOTE believes that the hugeness of a sound module does not express its true performance. We have tried to figure out what the controller should be to enhance the player and the drum set more. As a result, the world's smallest class module with a touch-screen has been designed. For the high playability and controllability, we do not compromise on both performance and design. We will continue to open up the possibilities of electronic drums, rather than following other companies.

Engineering with drummers in mind. No matter how much we loudly appeal the new technology, it does not make sense if players do not feel comfortable. EFNOTE realizes the intuitive playability by delicately studying the relationship between the drummer's physical movements and musical intentions. These technologies will not be documented like spec sheets or patents, but they are one of the key pillars of EFNOTE Drums. So we named it ELISE™ with respect.

For acoustic drum sounds, count on EFNOTE. We focus almost all resources on the sound quality of acoustic drums and cymbals by minimizing synth sounds. Faithfully recorded stereo samples of perfect vintage instruments go through the delicate mastering process and every single tone is built up carefully while repeating actual performances and reviews. In short, this high-purity design concept allows each enormous effort. Therefore, EFNOTE drums can reproduce the true richness of original acoustics.

EFNOTE's drum shells not only have no unpleasant hotspot in the center of the head, but also provide fast and natural response. For example, the 12" snare drum has 7 sensors and the 14" has 9 sensors. The multi-head-sensor expresses delicate passages with high resolution, the multi-rim-sensor is mounted close to the inner circumference of the shell and captures open rim shots with lower latency than the conventional center single-rim-sensor. We are a new brand, but these are the result of our 20 years of electronic drums engineering.

Electronic cymbals that each brand describes as "natural", but is it true? Many electronic cymbals still require a rotation stopper, so they can only swing back and forth, and the playable area is only the front. Additionally the edge and cup may not respond unless you hit them hard due to the thick rubber. All EFNOTE cymbals are 360 ° playable and have a perfectly rotational symmetric design for truly balanced swinging and natural wobbling. The international patent-pending thin edge design is designed to respond to soft touches. Now, we have a full lineup of full-scale cymbals from 8" to 20".

The EFNOTE hi-hat is innovative and is the first in the world to measure the distance between top and bottom cymbal in 3-dimension. Even the latest digital hi-hat from another brand only detect the on-axis distance in 2-dimension. In addition, due to its frictional sensor the movement of cymbals is hindered. This multi-optical sensing technology is now internationally patent pending.
