We put our riders on the spot: Who will reach the top of Bear Mountain first, Chris Froome or Alberto Contador? 🎤⛰️ Picking a favorite isn’t easy when these two Tour de France legends are on the ride.

Would I do it again? 100%. 🚴‍♂️💙

The Best Buddies NYC Challenge is much more than an incredible day on the bike.

Yes, riding out of Central Park, taking on Bear Mountain, flying down the descents with Chris Froome, and trying to hold Alberto Contador’s wheel are memories I’ll never forget.

But what really makes this event special is the people, the purpose, and the experience of riding for something bigger than ourselves.

In this video, I share my personal take on why the Best Buddies NYC Challenge has quickly become one of my favorite events on the cycling calendar — and why we’re already committed to coming back.

Great roads. Incredible organization. Cycling legends. Amazing people. And, most importantly, a cause worth riding for.

We’ll be back next year — and we want you riding with us.

🎥 Check out the video and see what makes this event so special.

Who’s in for next year? 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🔥

We came for the 100 miles and we left inspired by so much more ❤️

Some of our Foundation Cycling New York riders took on the Best Buddies Challenge, putting 100 miles in the legs for a cause that goes far beyond cycling.

An incredible day, an amazing community and a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together to create a more inclusive world for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We shared the road with lots of riders, and even a few legends, including Chris Froome and Alberto Contador. 🚴‍♂️🔥

But the real highlight was the energy, the smiles, the stories, and the shared purpose behind every mile.

We are proud to have ridden for something bigger than ourselves. ❤️

Want to help? Support Best Buddies, get involved, or simply help spread the word. Every mile and every contribution counts.

🌎 If you’re wondering how you can actually help Colombia right now, here are verified organizations responding to the earthquake. 🇨🇴❤️

📍 The earthquake struck western Colombia on August 10, with its epicenter near San José del Palmar in CHOCÓ. The response is especially challenging because many affected communities are remote and access to roads, healthcare, water, electricity and telecommunications has been disrupted.

🤝 The Colombian Red Cross and humanitarian organizations are already working on the ground in Chocó, Risaralda, Caldas and Valle del Cauca.
