2025. I went to 15 states, 3 countries, 11 different movie theaters, many hotels, many more houses, endless amounts of used book and record stores, a few clubs, the dermatologist and the dentist and urgent care (very new for me, a person afraid to enter facilities that need your insurance information), a lot of bars, a few grocery stores and one re-creation of the biblical holy land deep in the woods in the south. I ate a lot of incredible food, drank a lot of incredible drinks, hugged many friends new and old, danced, dipped my toes into DJing, made multiple jeopardy boards, lost money in Vegas, won money in Mississippi, went to NBA games, made new recipes, cried about the state of the world a lot, became more invested in helping my community, fell more deeply in love with my wife, released a short film, saw my friends enter new phases of their lives that used to seem so far away, smoked a bunch of weed, watched roughly 15 total days worth of movies, got promoted, showed up on some live streams, made my nephew and nieces laugh, tried new songs at karaoke and thought a lot about fish. It was a good year, it was a hard year, it was a year. Let’s keep it rolling.

What a year!! Got married, travelled all over (to Maine 8 times), had some of the most amazing meals of my life, made incredible memories with friends, saw so much live music, watched my cats turn into even bigger menaces, and grew a lot. In all honesty, I felt like I was in a holding pattern in some other areas of my life this year, but that will change in 2026. It was a good year :)
