Opening next Thursday! An exhibition that has been many months in the making as part of my curatorial residency @counterpulse RSVP link in bio๐Ÿ’‹ Text2Speech is a performance and exhibition series curated by Fadl Fakhouri highlighting artists whose work centers on borders. Text2Image highlights linguistic borders and contemplates whether text is itself an image. How does this change how we interpret language, which originated as a collection of symbols and hieroglyphics; arguably still the case, as witnessed in contemporary language. Exhibiting artists include: E Rady, Chisato Hughes, Noel Maghathe, Leena Joshi and Fargo Nissim Tbakhi Follow @text_2_speech to be notified of future events. This exhibition is produced through CounterPulseโ€™s Fall 2025 Curator in Residence program. About the Curator Fadl Fakhouri is an interdisciplinary artist whose work centers on positionality and poetic statements of determination. Fadl has exhibited at SFAI, Times Square, The Poetry Project, The Cincinnati Art Museum, and The Jewish Museum. They hold a BA in Biology from UC Berkeley and an MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University. They have held positions at Pratt Institute, Sothebyโ€™s Institute of Art and Tripwire Journal.
