The treehouse you’ve been dreaming of ✨

🏕️ @theoutpostluxurytreehouse
📍 Saint Johnsbury, VT

Tucked away in the Green Mountains is a little piece of paradise with so much thought put into every little detail that it would put even your childhood dreams to shame! Just 3 miles from downtown Saint Johnsbury, 13 miles from Littleton, NH, and right on the edge of the White Mountains, @theoutpostluxurytreehouse is the perfect little getaway for anyone looking to slow down, explore, and get a little piece of that Vermont magic!

And don’t worry if slowing down isn’t quite your thing, winter is right around the corner after all and you’re only a short drive from Burke & Cannon Mountain! 🏔️

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the best part. Not only is it pet friendly, but Stephen Huneck’s Dog Mountain is less than 5 minutes down the road! So, of course, your furry friends are more than welcome to join in on the adventure!

I don’t love seeing my face on here, and hearing my own voice might be even worse. 😂 But I believe pretty strongly in this, so here we are.

Hire a wedding planner.

Think about the other big things in life.

You hire a doctor to oversee your health.
A realtor to help you buy or sell a house.
An accountant to handle your taxes.
An attorney when you need legal expertise.

And if you were building a house, you probably wouldn’t hire 15 different tradespeople and then decide to be the general contractor yourself.

So why do we do that with weddings?

You hire a venue, caterer, florist, photographer, band, rentals, transportation, hair and makeup, lighting…the list goes on.

Someone needs to see the whole picture.

Someone needs to make sure all of those people have what they need, know where they need to be and when, and that all of those individual pieces actually come together.

That’s your wedding planner.

We’re not just here to make things pretty (although that is fun). We’re here to oversee the whole thing, advocate for you, anticipate what you don’t know to anticipate, solve the things you never even hear about—and have your back from beginning to end.

This is one of the biggest events you’ll ever host.

You shouldn’t have to be its general contractor, too.

Hire a wedding planner. Better yet, hire us. 🤍

Just interrupting your scrolling for a moment to appreciate this GORGEOUS bouquet. 🌸

The color. The texture. The trailing greenery. The ribbons. Those deep, moody tones mixed with all that soft pink.

That’s it.

Please carry on.

Happy Anniversary, Liz and Hunter! 🍾

One of my favorite combinations: a wedding with deep family connections where the lake and mountains become part of the story.

The morning before forever! 🤍

There’s something special about those final hours before “I do”, the anticipation, the people you love surrounding you, and that moment when it all becomes real.
We’re honored to be a small part of such a big day.

A great evening of connection, conversation, and community at our Littleton office! 🥂

We were happy to host Business After Hours with the Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce and welcome fellow local business owners, community members, and friends through our doors. Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to connect with the people who make our local communities such vibrant places to live and work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved having you here!

You see a beautiful tent.

We see decisions. A LOT of decisions. 😂

Just in this one photograph:

Tent size.
Lighting style. Lighting pattern.
Drape style. Drape color.
Floral palette. Floral varieties. Floral vessels.
Candle holders. Candle color. Candle quantity.
Greenery on the tent poles.
Chair style. Cushion choice.
Flooring color.

And then the tables…

Round table linens. Chargers. Napkins.
Rectangle table linens. Chargers. Napkins.
Menus. Place settings. Table placement.

And that’s just what you can see.

Behind the photo were menu decisions made at the tasting. Bar selections. Rentals. Quantities. Measurements. Floor plans. Proposals. Revisions. Installation schedules. Delivery timing. And approximately 4,782 emails. 😉

And you know what we haven’t even talked about yet?

The band. Photography. Video. Transportation. The ceremony. Guest logistics. The timeline.

Not one of them.

One beautiful photograph. Hundreds of decisions.

This is what wedding planning actually looks like — long before it looks effortless.

Hire a wedding planner. Better yet, hire us. We love this stuff. 🤍

Seasonal garden flowers layered with linen and glassware create a sense of sophistication and depth while still feeling relaxed and connected to the natural beauty surrounding Mayfair Farm.

One of those weddings that just felt so timeless. 🤍

The most gorgeous bride, all-white bridesmaid dresses (which I will forever be a fan of), and a ceremony we were determined to keep outside.

We waited out the thunderstorm, crossed our fingers, and ended up with a double rainbow as our reward. Pretty hard to beat that.

I've been thinking a lot about my childhood lately. About my earliest memories of flower picking. I remember feeling like the act of picking flowers was meant to be kept secret, in preparation of a special surprise. My sister (@whatdidyoudotoday2020) and I would fill small paper Dixie cups from the plastic dispenser from the downstairs bathroom or in shot glasses from the cabinet too high to reach safely with little wild blue bells from our neighbors yard every spring. If I ever get married again (renew my vows), I will make my bouquet entirely of wild little blue bells in honor of that innocent love and style messaging...

Making the bouquets for Isabelle and John's wedding this summer reminded me of this time in my life. They were married at Isabelle's family home (built and designed by her grandfather). Meeting them there with @events_by_sorrell and hearing their family stories brought me back to this memory and has had me thinking about what matters most when starting a life together ever since...

Thank you to all the incredible vendors that worked on this wedding. Thank you to my team who do everything I ask with never enough time to do it all in but you do. Thank you Isabelle & John for sharing your family memories and this special moment in time with me. ❤️
