smoke rising in the early mornings of a season spent softly, inside. spending a lot of time sitting with novels, with Grace, and not speaking. instead, wondering about home, about voice, and about what crystallizes within me when I am still.

Hello from Elsewhere! 2019 has been a WHIRLWIND and we so appreciate our communities near and far that have been with us through it. This year, we transitioned to a new ED, had our first-ever family residency month, partnered with a university for the first time for a special residency opportunity, received funding for a Native American poet residency, hired a brand spanking new Program Manager and VISTA, hosted a successful spooky Halloween party, partnered with a ton of local orgs, had our first-ever alumni exhibition, received grants to host another family residency and a ‘creative aging’ residency, and whew - so much more! We thank our amazing alumni, our board, our staff, and wonderful creative community. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year and would love for you to be a part of it! This Giving Tuesday- December 10th- please consider giving Elsewhere Studios some love to support us in sustaining our mission to bridge local and global communities through creativity! Visit: www.elsewherestudios.org/donate to learn more and please share!
