Stacked and ready to go slow and steady!

We are so excited for this firing! After a year and a half of planning and one canceled and rescheduled firing we are ready for this!

@rmborykceramics and I have been discussing not only the techniques of #furutanimichio and how to replicate them. We have also been discussing inclusion and equity in the wood firing community. Yesterdays loading was so wonderful. Each of us participating had a hand in the loading process and collectively loaded the wood kiln. @juniatacollegeceramicstudio

Together we all happily closed up the door feeling proud and excited of our stack and the days to come.

My annual mug from the @artridercrafts Craft Morristown show at the Armory. I love seeing makers and their stuff. And this year I saw @marccarmenglass who uses the studio where I work to finish off his beautiful blown glass pieces. 😊#crafts #pottery #mug #crafty #ilovehandmademugs
