Not Qualified but still Uniting ⚽️😎

Here’s a piece that transforms one of my thesis renders into a pop art global spectacle, ft. international flags (including the 3 host nations) surrounding the pitch and stands beneath a world map Jumbotron, symbolizing the unity of nations gathering for the World Cup 🌎🏆📈

Fanatics Fest, Absolute Cinema 🎥 ⭐️🎨

With goats, superstars, legends, and icons all in the same arena, I prepared 9 new original pieces, hoping to land a series of epic encounters.

Although the goal wasn’t entirely met, a time was definitely had. Coming back bigger and better next year‼️😤

Master Thesis ✅ ‼️

What a moment to cherish. I proposed a sports & recreational center in Downtown Miami that celebrates the city’s beloved sports teams with museum gallery spaces while having an indoor park area that can be used for recreational uses and events.

What a way to end my college of architecture journey. Huge thanks to the Most High, along with family, guardian angels, friends, professors, mentors, and classmates that helped guided me to this point.

Life’s about to get a whole better from here.

All smiles 😁

Lemon City Natatorium Proposal, Comprehensive Design Studio 🏊🏾‍♂️📐

This was my first attempt at designing an arena/stadium-like venue, something I'm really passionate about and a future goal of mine.

Forming an aquatic lightwell with fluidity in motion by use of framing and diagonal configuration, I created a regional competition venue in the Little River section of Little Haiti that has an equal amount of comfortable space for both swimmers and spectators. This building is held up by a cantilevered space framing roof with translucency in the middle to create that lightwell effect.

Truly an unforgettable design experience 💯

Arena Court Vision 360 😎🏀🏟️🎨🛣️

Here's are some aerial, bird's-eye, and perspective drone footage of my NBA Arena Pop Art Architecture Project placed on an outdoor urban basketball court.

This 3-part project, which started during the 2020 pandemic, showcases the connection between pop art and basketball, ft. the arenas of all 30 NBA franchises that gave me the inspiration to study architecture.

Part 1: making mini-models of every NBA arena and painting them in each team's color scheme

Part 2: creating hand painted custom courts with a conceptual design that mimics and references each arena

Part 3: video footage of myself envisioning turning an everyday outdoor basketball court into contemporary pop art pro-like playgrounds

Court Vision! 😎🏀🎨

Part 2 of my Arena Project envisions transforming an everyday outdoor basketball court into contemporary pop art pro-like playgrounds.

Each custom court was hand painted with a conceptual design that mimics and references the arenas of every NBA team.

Drone video footage coming soon 👀

Hall of Contemplation, Pigeon Key Chapel Proposal ⛪🛐🛥️

With its polygonal form resembling a ferry boat off the south edge of the Pigeon Key island, I proposed a chapel with a bridge connecting the double height profane space (located above ground) and a sacred space that's anchored on triangular stilts (located above water).

The use of light perforates through the sanctuary with views of the ocean. The space above the sanctuary serves as an outdoor public space where people can lounge on a boat-like deck with views towards the ocean as well.

Swipe to see this project in the form of model-making, 3D printing, and renderings.

Infill Row Housing Design Proposal - Savannah, GA 🏠

Adding to the continuation of Savanna's rigid symmetry in both building mass and layout, I proposed a layered infill Row house with floor plates that offset at each level creating an implied diagonal cut towards the garden. This house consists of four artist/architect housing units stacked on top of a first floor main gallery space.

All smiles after one hell of a semester. Moments like these will never get old.
