Women shouldn't be dying from preventable diseases. We were at the Nigerian Customs FCT Command to deliver a breast and cervical cancer awareness lecture and screening to the female staff through the @ejaosannetwork Ejaosan Network

Get your regular routine screenings. Ignorance is never an excuse. Tell a friend, sister, mom, girlfriend.

One woman at a time, I believe we can reduce mortality rates. You already know I am always available to raise awareness. Just call me to talk. I can do it all day 😃

Earlier today, I was live on Radio One 103.5 FM Lagos on the show “Timeout with Idara” via phone call where I spoke as the Head of Publicity and Communications for The Ejaosan Network @tenforgirls_ (A big thank you to my boss @dr.morountodun
for giving me the opportunity and for believing in me, thank you Ma for all you do and for always inspiring us).

We discussed a critical issue: The plight of out-of-school girls in underserved communities.

Some of the major points I shared included:

1. How poverty and gender discrimination keep girls out of school.

2. The heartbreaking reality where some parents would rather get money to feed than send their daughters to school.

3. How The Ejaosan Network is working with schools to identify, empower, and support these girls.

4. The dangers these girls face due to lack of education or mentorship.

5. Our upcoming programs include a literacy workshop and the launch of a documentary to raise awareness.

When asked how the public can help, I said this:

Donate. Mentor. Care.

Donate to the organization and be your sister’s keeper. Support a girl in your neighborhood.
Enroll that house help who prepares your child for school but doesn’t go to school herself.

This is me urging everyone reading this, we all have a part to play. Let’s stop normalizing the sight of out-of-school girls. Let’s be the reason they dream again.

Support the movement. Your donations could be the reason why a girl would live a happy and successful life. 👇

I remember sending a cold message via Instagram DM to the official page of @ejaosanfoundation . I was driven by a growing passion for serving others, so I did a quick Google search for NGOs near me and decided to take a chance. As the saying goes, the rest is history.

It's been almost three years since I started working for the organization as a Communication and Project Strategist. I have grown valuable professional experiences during the course of delivering in the following responsibilities: content strategist, content creation, graphic design, and project lead.

This year, I’ve found my direction, and I’m thankful to God for guiding me. My passion has aligned with my purpose, and I am grateful to @dr.morountodun Joseph, the founder of Ejaosanfoundation, for giving me the opportunity to serve.

While this post is written to inspire someone to shoot their shot at success, I also want to raise awareness that the foundation has outlined several strategies to help young girls stay in school, excel in their academics, and pursue their dreams. Your support is crucial to sharing this vision and ensuring that underprivileged girls can continue their education. September is near, and while some parents are preparing their children for the next academic session, others can barely afford their next meal, let alone school expenses. This is the community we are committed to helping.

Thank you, as you contribute to the progress of this great and selfless act for humanity.

Right from when I was young, I have always been passionate about helping and lifting others. It is always a thing of joy to be of positive impact to people at large. I have exercised my true passion by volunteering at different programs of different organizations and I have always felt elated about any opportunity of sort anytime it comes my way, which I know by that, I'm making an impact on people and humanity at large.

Fortunately @ejaosanfoundation chose me to be an ambassador of their organization. Everything about their organization is in tandem with what I represent, which is lifting people.

I feel so good for this new journey and I can’t wait to make good difference to this fortunate organization.

So guys, it is time to help show me love and help me follow Ejaosan foundation @ejaosanfoundation
This foundation is one of the best NGO in town and you should be part of the family.

Pls help me follow @ejaosanfoundation @ejaosanfoundation @ejaosanfoundation
