I first took the streets with @freedcproject on February 13, 2025 when they, alongside drag performers and queer cultural workers associated with @kennedycenter mobilized a march (and dance party 💃) from DuPont Circle to protest the appointment of Trump as Board Chair — an affront to the LGBTQ+ community that is a cornerstone of DC. In that crisp late winter air, a pledge was made — to defend our neighbors and DC with joy. We were not going to let this fascist administration steal our joy and our spaces. Nearly a year later, Trump has plastered his name on the very same building where it began and artists are boycotting in protest, reminding us not only that the fight is just starting, but that we must NOT comply in advance. For our culture. For our community. For DC. To learn more and get involved, visit freedcproject.org

Excited to announce that the WIP of 1,000 glass cranes “for Eon” will be on display at @touchstonewdc in their next group show: Collab! In the same way we must shape and rearrange the broken pieces of our society to make a world where trans and GNC folks are celebrated as their authentic selves, every member of the Glass Class Club has come in and arranged the shards of stained glass to build something more beautiful than how they found it. I hope you will join us for the opening at Touchstone to see our work plus that of SO MANY others. If you are interested in getting in the studio to help me build the flock you can email me at glassclassDC@gmail or check the calendar in my bio for “bird times” ✨

More more more from the Arctic in Alaska ⛰️ 1. Practicing my fast draw on tent setup. 2. Late night walks. 3. Follow the creek. This was at the northern side of the Brooks Range in the Refuge. 4. Midnight hike northwards towards the coastal plain and Beaufort Sea. Best time of day. 5. The rapid melt doesn’t really kick in until June. (Vid: @wiredtohunt) 6. Break up of the Beaufort Sea pack ice. 7. Photo op for @lindsaygeee, @lilwang615 and I with the infamous Arctic pilot Dirk Nickisch of @coyote_air.
