IAN in the Wild 🚵‍♀️

Our Art Director Ellen traded her keyboard for handlebars and took on the Chequamegon 40! She covered 41.7 miles of trails, hills and mud in 4 hours and 26 minutes—and was one of just 86 women among 1,082 riders to finish.

Congrats, Ellen, on tackling one of the Midwest's biggest mountain bike races!

Met Gabs at the girls combi contest/art show years ago. We stayed in contact over the years (skateboarding will do that.) When @imjustgabs and @ohionic starting building the green beast, the idea of coming out to Ohio started to become a reality.

She planned and organized for almost a year to make the Midwest Betty bowl jam happen. Carving out space and building from scratch, she created a magical skate paradise and the biggest wooden vert bowl I’ve ever seen!

Thank you for creating this for your community, for organizing and putting your heart and soul into this!

Everything was sooo thoughtful, you really took care of all of us Gabs! This was my first time in the Midwest! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality @imjustgabs @ohionic

Awesome to meet everyone from all over who came together for the Midwest Betty Bowl Jam. Here’s to many more!!

By my count, it’s been seven years since the last truly snowy Stupor Bowl. The joy it brought the ~300 riders was evident as they dashed through five inches of fluffy powder at the start in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday.

Though attendance was slightly down from last year, stoke levels were high. The snowy conditions tested riders’ choice of bikes, tires and drivetrains. Second place open speed won on a fatbike, but fixies still ruled the podium with three champions riding brakeless this year.

Congrats to everyone who tested themselves last weekend, and hats-off to the quartet of organizers: Sam, Victoria, Veronica and Henry. See y’all next year.
