Having purpose in your educational journey as a teacher, head of school, school owner and parent is the most important thing you need to think about first.
Your purpose will give you the direction to where you want to reach in life and the impact you want to have as an educator.
When parents don't have a purpose for their children's lives from the infant stage that will guide them to also find their own purpose and stay focused as they grow they become strangers if their lives and most times lose their sense of direction in life.
Certainly we have to fulfil mandates and meet educational standards, but so often our students leave our class and schools uncertain about who they are in the world and without a fully formed sense of purpose. Academics without purpose can be an exercise void of entity.
A standards-driven education can be both highly valuable and personally rewarding when stakeholders stay focused on the road to achieving their goal.
As a school Owner, what was your purpose for setting up the school?
As an Educator, what's your purpose for accepting to be in the teaching field?
As a parent why are you taking your child to that school?
Why do you want your child to do a particular course?
Have you ever asked your children what really interest them?
Do you even know who your child or student is?

ALWAYS KNOW THAT A TEACHER AND A PARENT WHO DON'T HAVE PURPOSE RAISE UP CHILDREN WHO ARE LIABILITY TO THEIR GENERATION.

I have just finished my session with @elainecunninghamwalker and I am blown away! Elaine gave me food for thought and some excellent tips. Would highly recommend any parent to schedule a session, even if you think you 'know it all' 😊

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP School leadership is no different to leadership of any corporate organisation. Every school, whether public or private, should have clear vision and mission statements. A great leader will ensure that the vision translates into organisational culture, that all staff are aware of and supports.

Matthew 12:25b states, “every city or house divided against itself shall not stand” (KJV)
