Organizing this event with @mazpeenut was the softest, easiest, most enlightening way to see how our strengths complement each other perfectly. You are a gem babe!

Thankful to everyone who came out to celebrate love with us. Happy Valentine’s Day in advance 🤍

Be that person that everyone knew would make it... independent, fearless, risky, successful.
The woman who had done everything to create a life of her dreams. The one who didn’t need a clap for motivation and was her own muse.
Be THAT girl, be more than that!! You deserve it all.

SNP, Meet E Lai Sterns, @elaisterns
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What one kind act can you remember, small or large, that impacted your life forever?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I grew up in a very abusive and conservative household in St. Louis. My parents ended up splitting up when I was a baby (before I was 1). I had an aunt, who was a former nun, highly progressive, and essentially raised me. She showed us compassion very early on. That compassion helped me focus on education as that was my meal ticket out of all of the unfavorable circumstances I faced as a kid.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I ended up graduating, but I couldn't get a job based on my gender presentation and who I loved until this one kind act from a straight white man. He gave me a job and took a chance on me, which gave me a foot in the door for the rest of my life. It forever changed me. I got into tech, gained tremendous confidence, and still friends with him today. Not all of us are broken. We're all vibrant and can shine."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you were to do one random act of kindness today, what would it be and why?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
”Take a chance on someone. Be a guide for someone and show up. We assist our LGBTQ community find other supporting businesses that are there to help. One day, I want to provide capital through an individual fund so that people who want to focus on social justice work or similar can help our community without stress. The amazing work they do will permeate the community and will change the world."
---
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What is one tip, personal or professional, that you can impart to us today?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Bosses bark. Leaders show the way. See the perspective and understand what people are going through. Be a leader and lead with empathy and compassion. Show up for people who need you."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
