Eventually It Will Kill You presents:
KONTRAVOID
Saturday July 13th at Hi-Dive
If you've been following us you know how excited we are about this show. Way back when we started, Kontravoid was the second show we ever did. He also headlined our first show after covid lockdown, which was also our first ever sold out show. Kontravoid always puts on an incredible show & he hasn't been to Denver in over 2 years, so this is going to be insane.
•••
We thought it would be fitting to have our good friend French Kettle Station open, considering he's so good & also because he opened for Kontravoid the first time we brought him to Denver.
Also we got Modern Devotion to kick things off with some of the best hardware techno you're going to see in Denver, so get there early.
Plus as always kyc DJs will be DJing before, in between, & after.
•••
Tickets for this will move fast, so don't sleep. I promise you don't want to miss it. Tix L.I.B.

🌀😵‍💫 SATURDAY SPINS 😵‍💫🌀

Wax Trax invites you to get into the groove with our new monthly DJ series. Our inaugural DJ @elbrianray will be spinning this coming Saturday.

ABOUT EL BRIAN:
Founder of the now defunct punk/garage/psyche label Heavy Dose records alongside the darker side of electronics presented on the Eventually It Will Kill You label, El Brian is the official unofficial jefe del underground here in Denver. With over 25 years of experience DJing as well as having formerly worked at waxtrax, El Brian's sets, like his @killyouclub event series, are as dynamic as they are deep.

We were laying low most of the summer, but we’re back with a very special show on 10/11…
Kris Baha from Melbourne will be in Denver for the first time ever & if you’re not familiar with him you need to fix that immediately. He’s seriously incredible & who knows the next time he’ll come back through Denver.
Last time Mvtant was in town he absolutely killed it at Hi-Dive so we’re very excited to see him again.
Modern Devotion is a new project by Adam Rojo who is 1/2 of Voight so we already know it’s gonna be good.
Y’all should already know who Moody & wngdu are & they’re gonna be DJing throughout the night.
A lot of people will post about shows & say shit like “you don’t want to miss this” etc. but when we say it we mean it & you really don’t want to miss this one. It’s for real going to be insane. We’re also so very excited to see all of your lovely faces again after our little summer break 🖤

Next Tuesday 7/12 at GLOB.
This show is going to be incredible. We haven’t had an all ages show for a minute, plus we haven’t ever had a show at GLOB which is now being run by one of our favorite Denver people & musicians, Luke Thinnes aka French Kettle Station.
If you haven’t checked out Haunt Me yet, you should because they’re killer & I promise you’ll be bummed if you miss them their first time in Denver.
Weathered Statues are a criminally underrated band from Denver that we haven’t had on a show since maybe 2018 so we were way overdue & are stoked to have them on this one.
S!NTAX are a new band to us & we’re not very familiar with them yet so we’re excited to see their set.
Precious Blood is a DJ from Denver & knowing what I do about their music taste I know their sets are going to be killer.
This is the last show we have coming up for awhile so it’d be great to see all your faces 🖤

UPCOMING SHOW ALERT:
We’re very excited for this next one because our homies Lesser Care are coming back to Denver & this time they’re bringing don’t get lemon with them! If you’re not familiar with Lesser Care yet, or you missed them when they came all the way up from Texas to play with Tempers, then you need to fix that by coming to this show. don’t get lemon are also from Texas & we have yet to see them live, but everything we’ve heard of theirs is fantastic. Plus Lowfaith will be kicking things off & Moody & I will be playing records. Also Lesser Care & don’t get lemon both have incredible new albums out that you should go check out now. See y’all soon. Tix L.I.B. 🖤

Thank you to everyone that came out to the show last night.
Next up:
BESTIAL MOUTHS
CXCXCX
CAU5ER
killyouclub DJs
5/30 at Hi-Dive
• This is another one we are honored to be hosting. I could be wrong, but I believe this is Bestial Mouths first time in Denver & we couldn’t be more excited to see them live. If you’re not familiar with Bestial Mouths, you need to fix that immediately.
• This will also be the first time we’ve had CXCXCX on an actual in-person live show since 2019. He’s been doing a lot of incredible things since then, including releasing the Plains Archaic comp (L.I.B.) & we can’t wait to see him live again.
• Finally for a third first this will be Cau5er’s first EIWKY show. I don’t know much about Cau5er besides what I heard on bandcamp & what I heard is really good, so I can only imagine how good it’s going to be live.
Don’t miss this one! Tickets on sale now L.I.B. 🖤
