POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tagged out on my first elk hunt in Colorado. We had weather ranging from cold rain to snow and temps starting out at 19 degrees going up to almost 60 degrees then back down. There were hunters and predators putting pressure on the elk but the Tallahatchie Boys and Elena still got it done on the last day! Big thanks to John and Carly for letting us stay the week and guiding us on the hunt.

Hey ladies we want to share your photos and stories from the season. Let’s fill this page with the women who own the light!

If you’d like to be featured send your photos to our dm with a caption (please!) You don’t need to have a harvest to be featured!

@whatsyourwildcreative was able to harvest her first solo archery elk this year.

Sticks, fish, friend, and naps. What more could a dog ask for in the summertime?

It was the fishiest of times exploring our backyard waters this weekend. There’s truly nothing better than sharing time outside with the people and pups you care about most. I don’t know what heaven looks like but if it isn’t full of trout and friendship, I don’t want to go. 🌄🎣🐾🥰

Another successful Women’s & Youth Hunter Ed course in the books! This year was our most full class we’ve had so far and about half of the participants were 15 and under! So grateful for our @huntingincolorado instructors, Kirsten, McKenna & KJ for teaching this course and so excited for all the new hunters to begin their hunting careers! 💥

Big Game applications are officially open in Montana and Colorado.

A date circled on calendars.
A quiet kind of excitement.

This is where imagination meets intention — applying for the hunts that fill our minds all year long.
The tags we hope to draw this fall.
The long shots we build points for, season after season.

And whether your name gets pulled or not, every application moves the needle. Those dollars go right back into conserving the wildlife and wild places we care so deeply about.

Because in the end, it’s bigger than a tag.
It’s about stewardship, patience, and believing in seasons still to come.

If you’re new to all this - there are resources to help you.
@venerymt with the support of @shedhornsports & @jackcreekpreservefoundation is offering : a Virtual Class on Big Game Rules and Regulations, March 24th to help you step into becoming more confident with the process.

Visit the Upcoming Events in their bio to sign up and learn from the comfort of your own home.

If you want to get into hunting and don’t know where to start, @rockymountainsportswomen is hosting a Hunters Safety Class at the Routt County Rifle Club, March 7th & 8th in Steamboat Springs, CO. Head on over to their page and click on the link Women’s Hunter Ed Course to sign up.
