Competition day done! 🏆❤️

No placing today, but what an absolutely incredible experience! And genuinely, I couldn’t be happier with how today went.

One thing I can say for certain is that @naturalbbworldwide is the place to be for natural competitors! From the venue, lighting and music to the backstage supplies and pump-up area, every little detail was thought of. Everything ran so smoothly, and the whole atmosphere was just fantastic. An organisation that really understands its athletes! 👏

A few very important thank yous…

My husband…my biggest supporter, as always. From chauffeuring me around to making sure I’ve got absolutely everything I need, he’s there through it all. The early mornings, the long days, the prep madness and everything in between. Always in my corner, and I couldn’t be more grateful for him! 😍

My coach, @coachedbycavanagh …who’s spent the last 15 months keeping my head screwed on 😂 He knows exactly when to push me and, more importantly, when to take his foot off the gas, even when I’m absolutely determined he shouldn’t! 😂 His knowledge, patience and ability to see the bigger picture when I can’t have been invaluable. Thank you for guiding me through this journey and knowing what I need!

And my posing coach, @elevateposing …I came to Ella in a bit of a hurry after my last show, and we’ve only had four lessons together, but what a difference she’s made! She’s an incredible teacher who has a way of giving you the simplest little cues that just stick in your head when you’re on stage. What I love most is how invested she is. She genuinely wants it just as much as you do, and that makes such a difference. I’m so grateful for everything she’s taught me in such a short space of time!
So…15 months of hard work, another competition under my belt, lessons learned, improvements made and memories I’ll keep forever.

I’m proud of myself, proud of the work I’ve put in and so grateful for the people who’ve helped me get here.

Absolutely no regrets!

And now… time to eat something that is a bit of a treat…banana AND peanut butter! 😂😂

What makes Rhea’s posing so elegant? 🤍

✨ Every movement finishes through her fingertips, which gives it softness and grace

✨ She presses her toes into the floor, so every transition flows

✨ She scans the room and connects with the judges. She doesn’t just stand there, she owns the stage

✨ My favourite: she poses as herself, not like everyone else

Learn the technique, then make it your own. 💫

WNBF UK done and dusted with @strength_with_shan 🇬🇧

Our second show of the season and already improved from the first which is always the most important thing!

Prep has been executed like an absolute champ by Shan. We’ve had to dig deep and not once has she complained, she’s just cracked the f on and done the work 💅🏻

One last show coming up at the NBW the week after next which shall be a huge weekend - buzzing 🫶🏼

WNBF Supernaturals for my wonderful posing client @strength_with_shan 🪄💙 @emma.currivan

Women’s BB

Another fantastic showing for Shans routine! One she has been practising for months and performed beautifully ✨

Open Figure

A last minute category change for Shan to which we had to rapid fire change her posing & create a new I-walk… nothing like a challenge a few days out. But nevertheless I think we smashed it.

A HUGE reason why we were able to do this is because we have been working together for so long that Shans skill level for posing has reached a level where we can quite easily manipulate things

Proud of you Shan 💙

So proud of my @elevateposing girls today 👑💙

@jas.samuels_

Second show of the season and WOW did she own that stage! Jasmine has been with me for a long time on my monthly posing package and to see all that work come together today was everything. She looked so elegant, so flowy, and absolutely killed her I-walk. In a very strong lineup she held her own and stood out, and hearing so many people compliment her posing honestly means the world to me 🥹

@kerrie.bb

Last show of the season and what a way to finish! Every single time Kerrie has stepped on stage this season she has grown more and more in confidence, and today was without a doubt the best she has EVER held herself up there. We made some little tweaks to her poses and she absolutely nailed every single one 👌🏼 She smashed her I-walk, looked incredible and genuinely enjoyed every second on that stage. So so proud of you girl!

A lot of people will tell you posing doesn’t really matter on stage... but I genuinely think otherwise. When you walk out there with real confidence, presence and poise, the judges look at you and it’s hard for them to take their eyes off you. That’s exactly what both of these girls did today, and THAT is what makes me so proud.

Days like today remind me why I love my job so much 💙

1 week out to @nabbakorea Pro Show and
2 weeks out from @naturalbbworldwide Pro Show in the UK

I have pushed and pushed and pushed as hard as I possibly can and some more to get myself in shape for these 2 shows.

The quality of athlete is going to be next level. The shows themselves are going to be an absolute experience.

And to be honest I didn’t acknowledge that they were actually just right here.

Just next weekend and then the following.

Months ago I registered for these, months ago I began getting myself ready. Months ago I have been having my posing coached by @elevateposing from the UK, and Months ago I knew more then likely I will be 20-30 years older then the youngest person on probably both of these stages.

I have worked so hard for the physique I’ll be presenting. For the mindset to travel and represent by myself. Self funded the whole way. I don’t search out a cheer squad but I do know a lot of you are wishing me well.

Realising it is quite so close I was momentarily shocked and yes a bit nervous and apprehensive.

Just a couple more days pushing as hard as I can and then we peak. Then I hope my flights don’t cause me any grief body wise. And try keep my wits about me as I do my best to do what I love. Compete in a sport where you can’t hide, you can’t lie and you can’t control the outcome. What happens on the day, happens. And all you can hope is in the moment you have that you shine and don’t shit the bed from fear or self doubt.

But the time is nearly upon and that penny dropped just today lol.

1 and 2 weeks out. And I will fight with all I have to place as best I can. And that my friends is all can do. Make sure you stick around so u can find out how we go yeh.

Stop spending too long on your transitions..

This DOES NOT mean neglect them completely

BUT an over-the-top transition is also a second not spent in the pose.

Efficient doesn't mean rushed.

It means practised until it's effortless and clean

Know your federation's pace, read the room, and stay in sync.

Out of sync = standing out for the wrong reasons.

Stop letting your posing undersell your physique. Apply to work with Elevate Posing via the link in bio 💙

Let’s stop tearing other athletes down for doing something different! 🤍

@eduardabeezerra took a risk with her Olympia I-walk. It was different, dancey and expressive, and the internet has been brutal about it.

It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I thought it was cool to see something different and expressive, she looked beautiful, and she had the confidence to do something nobody else did.

Constructive feedback helps our sport grow. Pulling people apart doesn’t.

Let’s celebrate athletes who dare to be different 👏🏻

What did you think of her I-walk?
