LESSONS FROM LEGENDS SIGRDRÍFUMÁL 🪽 The meaning behind our VALKYRIE design was never only about being strong. It was about what we choose to do with that strength. In Sigrdrífumál, Sigrdrífa is a Valkyrie who defies Odin’s chosen outcome in battle and suffers the consequences. When she later awakens, Sigurd asks her to teach him wisdom. And she does. She shares what she knows of victory, protection, healing, speech and wisdom, before teaching him about integrity, restraint and how we choose to treat others. That’s where the meaning behind VALKYRIE comes from. TRUE STRENGTH DOES NOT NEED TO DIMINISH SOMEONE ELSE. We can be confident without needing to stand above others. We can be strong without making somebody else feel weak. We can lead, support, encourage and share what we have learned without taking anything away from ourselves. The lesson was never that strength is about proving that we are better than somebody else. It’s that power is not diminished when we use it to empower others. STAND BESIDE OTHERS. NOT ABOVE THEM. Know your worth. Stand by your values. Use your voice when it matters. And when you have the opportunity to help somebody else recognise their own strength, do it. Because strength is not only found in what we can overcome. Sometimes it is found in what we can provide to others. We can’t change the stories that came before us. But we can learn from them. We can carry those lessons forward into our own challenges, our own aspirations and the way we choose to live our own lives. REFLECT BACK. MOVE FORWARD. LESSONS FROM LEGENDS THE BOOK OF FIVE RINGS 🥋 The meaning behind our SAMURAI design was never truly about the warrior alone. It was about the discipline, perception and control that stand behind the sword. Miyamoto Musashi wrote The Book of Five Rings after a lifetime devoted to strategy, training and understanding not only how to overcome an opponent, but how to master himself. The teachings he shares return to the same thoughts and concepts. See beyond what’s immediately in front of you. Remain calm when pressure rises. Adapt when there’s change. Train until what once required thought becomes part of who you are. And keep becoming better than the person you were yesterday. That’s where the meaning behind SAMURAI comes from. REFLECT BACK. MOVE FORWARD. Have been through so much in the last 54 years and as one colleague said ‘it’s like you have lived seven lives’. This year however has been one of the biggest yet, I became a grandad to a beautiful little girl and also became a British Champion with Pure Elite on the body building stage. Life may not always be full of photographic smiles, but I have to say it’s been pretty damn decent so far.

LESSONS FROM LEGENDS VÖLUSPÁ 🐺 The meaning behind our VALHALLA design was never truly regards battle. It was what happens when the wolves are already at the door. In Völuspá Ragnarok is foretold. Fenrir breaks free. The world begins to fall apart. Odin goes to face the wolf. Thor confronts the world serpent. The old world falls. And yet the poem does not end there. After the sun turns black and the earth sinks beneath the sea, the seeress sees it rise again green once more. That’s where the meaning behind VALHALLA comes from. THE WOLVES ARE ALWAYS NEAR. There will always be adversity. Doubt. Setbacks. Loss. People who want to see us fall. Circumstances we never chose and outcomes we cannot completely control. The lesson was never not that we would always succeed. It’s that victory does not have to be guaranteed for courage to matter. STAND UNTIL THE LAST DAWN. Stand when the outcome is uncertain. Stand when everything around you changes. Stand when the wolves are at the door. And when one chapter of your life comes to an end, remember what follows Ragnarok in Völuspá. The earth rises again. We can’t change the stories that came before us. But we can learn from them. We can carry those lessons forward into our own challenges, our own aspirations and the way we choose to live our own lives. REFLECT BACK. MOVE FORWARD. LESSONS FROM LEGENDS ⚔️ The Legacy Range was never created only for the designs to look cool on our clothing. Every design was to carry a message. A story. A philosophy. A teaching. A lesson that has passed down through the ages. And I don’t feel I ever done enough to explain the reasons why behind the Legacy Range. So every week we’ll delve deeper through each design. Back to the story or text that inspired the design, what each one actually teach us, and what we can carry forward through our own story. Courage, Resilience, Purpose, Friendship, Anger, Mortality, Discipline, and Belonging. The successes, the failures and the complexities. Because we can learn from all of that. Learn the lessons from legends to carry them forward and leave your own legacy 🔥 ALWAYS FORWARD 🐺 #alwaysforward #mentalhealth #gymwear #leavealegacy #reflection

REASONS WHY? You should always understand your why. And for us, the why behind ALWAYS FORWARD has never only been clothing. They had to be purpose led. But ALWAYS FORWARD has always meant more to me than what design has been pressed on our clothing. It’s a mentality. It’s about continuing to move forward through adversity and challenge, even when that forward movement doesn’t always look particularly impressive from the outside. Sometimes, on the worst days, that could be getting yourself out of bed. Admitting you’re struggling. Or even getting through a fucking difficult day. You moved FORWARD and that’s what truly matters. ATHLETICISM AND ADVENTURE THROUGH ADVERSITY. But I also truly feel we need to reconnect with each other. Conversation. Connection. Community. Because the statistics are unacceptable. Across the UK in 2024, approximately 7,184 suicides were recorded. That’s around 20 people every single day. And around 74% were men. Approximately one man every 98 minutes. Awareness matters. Talking about mental health matters. But for me, there also has to be more that we can actually do to take action. We want to push towards launching Coffee and Chat/Talk and Train, as well as Walks. Outdoor activities. Challenges. Adventures. Starting conversations. Creating connections. PAY FORWARD. If you’re doing well, reach back. If somebody helped you through something, try to be that person for somebody else. Send the message. Check on the person who has gone quiet. Make time for the conversation. Listen. Sometimes knowing somebody fucking cares can matter more than we realise. Because moving forward shouldn’t only be about how far we can get ourselves. It should also be about how many people we can help bring forward with us. That’s the why. That’s what I mean when I describe Always Forward as a Mental Health Activewear Brand. MOVE FORWARD. PAY FORWARD. ALWAYS FORWARD. ATHLETICISM AND ADVENTURE THROUGH ADVERSITY. ALWAYS FORWARD 🐺 Photography @framesbyluke_ 📸 #alwaysforward #mentalhealth #gym #activewear #suicidepreventionmonth

You are pure magic. You create ripples through the room, through the people in it. But have you ever wondered if you’re only touching the tip of the iceberg? This style of breathwork, the headsets, the flow, the rhythm through the session, it doesn’t just create a speechless pool of beauty around clients when they land. It’s why they come back for more. Because they feel how accessible this work really is. That accessibility is exactly why this business grew the way it has. So if you’re a therapist, a counsellor, a coach, someone working in somatic or holistic healing, or you simply know your purpose is to serve, isn’t it worth having a peek under the hood? Drop a “YES” below or send me a message and I’ll show you what’s possible. #BreathworkFacilitatorTraining #SomaticHealingPractitioner #HolisticCoachLife #BreathworkForTherapists #ScaleYourHealingPractice

CAN WE BREAK THE SILENCE? 🎙️ Sometimes silence appears to be strength. You head to work. Train. Laugh. Show up for everyone else. Continue on as you battle something internally that no one else around you can see. Personally I have been there. I have had moments where I have kept everything to myself because I thought I had to always be strong. Because I never wanted to burden anyone. Because sometimes that felt almost easier to say nothing than explain what was actually going on. But silence can become separation. And separation can become isolation. That’s part of the reason Always Forward started. I am not here to pretend that a tee or a hoody can repair someone’s mental health. It can’t. But the message that you carry on our clothing could start a conversation. A conversation can create connection. Connection can create community. And community can create change. Always Forward began as a purpose led clothing brand but the aspiration has always been more than the clothing. I wanted to build something people can belong to. Encourage people to talk and help them remember that you don’t have to move forward alone. Because strength doesn’t mean suffering in silence. Sometimes strength can be saying ‘I am struggling’ Sometimes that can be asking ‘Are you sure you are okay?’ And sometimes that’s being there for someone long enough for them to answer honestly. CONVERSATIONS. CONNECTION. COMMUNITY. That’s how we start building a better future. Together. ALWAYS FORWARD 🐺 Photography @framesbyluke_ 📸 #alwaysforward #mentalhealth

1000m summit wild camp was cancelled due to weather and knee issues (swipe to the end 🙃) However a day out in the gorgeous puzzlewood definitely made up for it 🪾🌲 “Of course, it is likely enough, my friends, likely enough that we are going to our doom: the last march of the Ents. But if we stayed at home and did nothing, doom would find us anyway.” -Treebeard

WHATEVER IT TAKES 🦾 Recently I entered the @canva Small Business Pitch Challenge ‘26 as I felt that could hopefully help push the Always Forward message further and build more momentum for the movement were we able to secure the funding and support from Canva. We have now been recognised as one of Canva’s Top 100 Small Businesses, and shortlisted for the next stage! If we are lucky enough to be part of the top 5 that could truly help our purpose led clothing brand to reach the next level and launch our coffee and chat/talk and train support groups, community events, mental health campaigns, and partnerships, all as part of the forward movement plan. Our long term aspiration remains a permanent home where people can train, talk, connect, create, and belong. Regards of what happens next we are proud to be one of Canva’s Top 100 Small Businesses, and we’ll get there eventually, whatever it takes! Thank you to everyone that has supported the movement and helped carry those messages so far, but we need your continued support! Be sure to engage on our content, and for those that can, please consider purchasing some of our purpose led clothing, but more than anything continue to encourage others to move forward, connect and start these conversations, and ensure that no one ever feels alone. We stand as one. Always Forward 🐺
