“S∞S” is out today ❤️‍🔥 It has been a deep journey and we are excited to share this music, which is also the result of many years of our friendship. So grateful to everyone involved in creating this album, and especially to Colin for his generosity and care, and for giving it the best possible home at @elevatorbath Thank you for listening, it means the world ❤️❤️❤️ “S∞S”(Sinconía) was born from our belief in sound as a living organism, alive with resonance and vibration. The infinity symbol reflects a reciprocal flow of energy: a continuous exchange of sonic forces and interconnected life, echoing the ouroboros and its eternal cycle. As transductive bodies, we channel these processes to synchronise, becoming vessels and tuning into the invisible currents beneath. “S∞S” by Huerta Ensamble Composed and produced by Concepcion Huerta and Daniela Huerta Mixed by Buena Tarde Mastered by James Plotkin @plotkinworks Lacquer cut by Andreas Lubich @lupo_lubich Photography by Rudolfs Osins @rudolfs Layout by Colin Sheffield Album pics by @alkaloide_ Portrait by @rudolfs

Mollusk Depot presents- 12- THC Trio 11- Colin Andrew Sheffield 10-BEAM SPLITTER (EU) 9- Disensemble Saturday July 25 9-1pm Carousel Lounge 10-20$ sliding scale cash/Venmo Very excited to have Beam Splitter play one of 3 Texas shows !!! BEAM SPLITTER trombone and analog electronics based in Berlin, Germany. Through numerous performances in a wide range of spaces, contexts and collaborations, they have developed a unique brand of highly amplified dialog, which is as intimate as it is equal amounts raw and entirely exposed. The duo have toured extensively across five continents since 2015, joining together their two individual voices into a distinct language that delves beyond the borders of the corporeal elements of un-processed voice and trombone, while utilizing analog electronics to offset their hyper extended physical play. Their latest duo album "SPLIT JAW" was released on Nat Baldwin's Tripticks Tapes in 2023. This bite size format packs an entire universe of their crafted sputter, breath and glitch inside its forty-five minute magnetic tape loop. The album is one third introspective Berlin studio production and the rest, live from a splintering concert given at Wels Unlimited Festival in Austria, their last concert of 2022 where audience and the duo alike giving it their all center of room, split open like hollow bones head to clavicle, muscles twitching and air spewing, breaking ground and mending it with alien hums. Further recent releases include “Beauties” (2023) with Lønning and Reinertsen, “Wrists out” (2024) with Phil Minton and “Dedicated play : Live at Morphine Raum” featuring fourteen stellar guests. Since 2020, the pair have been organizing Dedicated play, an artistic and curatorial platform fostering community building and genre-breaking intersections of experimental musicians and artists from a diversity of social, cultural, and musical backgrounds. The project has taken shape as a concert series in collaboration with Morphine Raum (Berlin), an online album presentation, a festival in Berlin and London co-curated with Hyunhye Angela Seo (Xiu Xiu), and select satellite events.

Andrew Anderson :: Thresholds (Elevator Bath) https://igloomag.com/reviews/andrew-anderson-thresholds-elevator-bath #igloomag #reviews @donhaugen Thresholds is an album that stays with you. It subtly alters the way you listen. It opens a door into a liminal space where sound becomes memory, and memory becomes atmosphere. In doing so, Andrew Anderson has created a work that is both deeply personal and universally evocative, a rare and rewarding listening experience.
