We’re so grateful to @minorityautismconnection for inviting us to be part of their Back to School Drive yesterday!

Our first community event was such a great experience. We loved connecting with families, meeting other local providers and organizations, and being reminded of just how important it is to show up for the community we serve.

We’re looking forward to more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and serve our community!

And a special thank you to my great friend and occupational therapist @shayreneeot for helping me hold down the BSC table 🫶🏾🩷

🚨THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE. ❤️🎒

What started as a back-to-school drive became something so much bigger.

It became smiles.
It became hope.
It became relief for parents.
It became excitement for children.
It became a reminder that our community shows up. 🥹❤️

Our MAC x AGC Back-to-School Drive was filled with beautiful moments that we won’t soon forget.

🎒 More backpacks.
📚 More supplies.
👧🏾 More smiling faces.
👦🏾 More children prepared to walk into a new school year with confidence.

And behind every backpack was someone who chose to give.

Behind every donation was someone who believed our children deserve to have what they need to succeed.

Behind every volunteer was someone willing to give their time because community means showing up.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, partnered, shared the event, registered, or simply encouraged us — THANK YOU. 🙏🏾

You helped us remind families that they are not alone.

And you helped us remind our children:

YOU MATTER.
YOU ARE SEEN.
YOU ARE SUPPORTED.
AND YOUR COMMUNITY BELIEVES IN YOU. ❤️

This is more than a back-to-school drive.

This is what happens when we make room for each other.

And we’re just getting started. ✨

Betting on me, every single time ✨✨✨

I’m incredibly honored to be recognized in the 2026 Aspire Big Book of Business.

This recognition means so much because it represents every family we’ve served, every obstacle we’ve overcome, and every dream I’ve refused to let go of.

As a Black clinician in a field that wasn’t originally designed with my community in mind, I’ve made it my mission to create spaces that are. Spaces where families and clinicians feel seen, heard, valued, and supported in the neurodivergent community.

One thing I’ve reflected on is that growing up, I didn’t see certain experiences as “issues” because they were simply my normal. It wasn’t until later that I realized there were other ways families could be supported, empowered, and connected to resources. That perspective has shaped the way I serve today. I hope to help other families realize that there are different paths available and that support exists to help their children and families thrive in so many other ways than one.

I hope posts like this remind someone that your beginning doesn’t determine your ending. I’ve shared before that the odds were stacked against my family growing up, and even today, there are moments that require me to push through the unimaginable, in other ways. But I’ve never allowed my circumstances to define my purpose.

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s this:

Bet on yourself.
Even when no one else does.
Even when the path doesn’t exist yet.
Even when it feels impossible…..BUT be smart and logical about it 🤗

The greatest investment you’ll ever make is believing in what God placed inside of you….always. Live out what he gave you ❤️

If you’re in the area join me and other phenomenal women on September 2nd at Victoria Secret’s Headquarters at 4:30. Ticket link in Bio

Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me personally or professional, love you deep!

MAC FAM ✨

🤎🖤🤎

Community Connection & Support…3 of our favorite things! Loved talking to the community about what we provide.

We met families who are in search of support for their children and provided education on how to gain access to resources available to them.

For those who stopped by our table, we hope to connect soon, don’t be a stranger-we’d love to stay connected 🤎🖤!
