"Recently, our focus has been on addressing pitching mechanical flaws like, using the lower body better, arm speed and arm action. Quin initially had doubts about pitching earlier this year but decided to give it a shot. He has shown significant progress thus far, and I am confident there is more improvement to come from him," Coach E

Quin has been undergoing private sessions with Coach @elig_beisbol consistently. He is now gearing up for the upcoming offseason by participating in #TheYard's speed and agility training as well as the throwing program. Keep up the good work, Quin!

Eli Garcia breaking down the basics of pitching mechanics with Princeton Little League ⚾️

This creative way of teaching, being specific and keeping it fun helps our young pitchers actually get it. When they enjoy the session, it sticks. So when they walk out the door, they don’t just leave practice… they leave knowing what they worked on and how to use it.

Some of the most important things youth pitchers need to learn when they move up to the big field:

• Use your lower body to generate power and stay healthy
• Develop a reliable secondary pitch
• Command the strike zone, not just throw down the middle
• Use effective pickoff moves
• Control the running game with looks, timing, and quickness ⚾️

Use the offseason the right way.
Learn proper arm care, build a bulletproof arm, get stronger, and learn how to use your lower body the right way, with a plan.

Lock in your plan, train with intent, and separate yourself. ⚾️🔥

@garcia8665 evaluated César’s mechanics and knew that with just a few weeks of focused work, especially on using his lower body more efficiently, César would see a noticeable jump in velocity. And he did.

“César, now transitioning into a PO, has a naturally strong arm and an ideal body frame. Once he locks in proper pitching mechanics, he has the potential to become an elite pitcher.” @garcia8665
