@elilage explains and shows how much a snare sound can change just by tuning the snare side head only!!

Let's see what he has to say about it:

“This week I tried a few different bottom-head tunings on my snare to help me get to the result I want more quickly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A lot of people overlook the snare-side head, myself included 🫠, and the best way to fix that is by getting in the studio and working on it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Try it out and let me know what you think!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Testa aí e me diz o que você acha!”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you hear a difference? Let's talk about it!

Should out to @elilage for sharing this with us all!

@elilage shows off a couple of snare drums in his collection in his favorite size, 14” x 5”.

They are all tuned to a frequency of 250 Hz on top and 400 Hz on bottom.

Do you hear a difference? Which one do you like more?

Thank you to @elilage for sharing his collection with us!

Every photographer’s dream is when you let go, have fun, and just be—with each other and with me. When you trust me with prompts like “play tag,” “tug of war,” or “just close your eyes and be”—that’s where the magic happens.

Connection is everything. This is your moment to feel, to move, to love—while I capture it all.

I pray that everyone who steps in front of my lens feels safe, seen, and fully themselves.
