Bingham ‘26 💙🤍

This first Bingham Cup (and also first season with the Convicts) was one of the most awesome, fun, chaotic experiences of my life so far. I’ve met and played alongside so many absolutely incredible people, played some pretty fucking decent rugby along the way (*3* tries in a game wtf hello!?) and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Long story short, I think the best way to describe this whole experience would be nothing short of life changing.

One season down, many more to go!! 💙🤍

(PS sorry if I didn’t tag, insta sucks like that but you’re still awesome xx)

Bingham 💙

This trip definitely didn’t end the way I thought it would, and I think it’s taken me a few days to properly process that.

Getting to Bingham was something I worked towards for a long time. There were weeks of travelling close to seven hours in a day just to train with the boys, playing on the weekend, dealing with flare ups afterwards and then doing it all again the next week. Somehow, through all of that, I made it to Brisbane.

Unfortunately, a broken wrist had other plans and my time on the field at Bingham ended much earlier than I ever expected.

As disappointing as that was, I don’t want that to be what I remember about this trip.

I want to remember how much fun I had.

The rugby, the laughs, the nights out, the conversations, the absolute chaos and all the little moments in between. I got to experience Bingham with a group of boys who made this year of rugby so much fun, and I wouldn’t change that for anything.

For now, I’m going to take some time away from playing. I don’t know whether that will be a year or longer. I just know I need some time to recover, understand my health a little better and work out what comes next.

It’s strange knowing I won’t be packing my bag and making those trips to Sydney for a while, but I’m leaving this chapter with a lot more good memories than bad ones.

To every person who made Bingham what it was, thank you. It was everything I hoped it would be, even if I didn’t quite get the ending I wanted.

And to the boys I was lucky enough to play alongside, I bloody loved every minute of it.

And my coaches, I just wanna say a massive thank you to you. You brought that confidence that I didn’t think I’d gain again and pushed me to be a better player. For that I can’t thank you enough.

This isn’t goodbye. Simply see you later 💙
