Yesterday, @krystal_h_allen , out of obedience, gifted us all in that intimate space with a Faith and Business Experience through @the.abide.experience .

I was able be meet some amazing people, and most importantly be fed. As leaders, we pour out so much, but finding safe spaces to grow in business and in intimate relationship with God does not come around often, so I want to take this moment just to say thank you for being a true leader and walking in obedience no matter what!

Looking forward to growing in God (with the capital G) and @elitetherapyla

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who took time out of your lives to celebrate me yesterday. The notes, texts, DMs, calls, songs, gifts, absolutely everything.

Idon’t take any of it lightly. My gratitude is at an all-time high. 💛

As I continue on this healing journey, my celebrations look different, and so does my gratitude. It’s deeper. It’s quieter. It’s more intentional.

I haven’t been very active on social media lately, but that hasn’t stopped the right people from finding me and beginning their therapy journey. And every time I hear, “I found you from social media,” I’m reminded that walking in my calling will always make room for me.

The joy I feel in helping and supporting others is confirmation. This is what I’m meant to do.

Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for growing with me. 🤍

I didn’t become passionate about inner child work by accident, I became passionate because I had to do the work myself, and still do.

The deeper I went into my own healing…
the more I understood why so many of us, especially high-performers, are silently struggling.

Most people think inner child work is just about “looking back.”

It’s not, I promise.

It’s about understanding the emotional patterns running your life right now:

🔓 Why you show up strong but collapse privately

🔓Why you overachieve but still feel “not enough”

🔓Why you pour into everyone else but don’t feel worthy of being supported

🔓Why you’re successful but still triggered like the child who had to survive everything

High performers don’t struggle because they’re weak. They struggle because they learned to cope early.

And coping turned into overworking, overdoing, and over-carrying everyone else’s emotional weight.

That’s what drew me into this work.
Doing my own healing made me see how childhood wounds quietly drive adult behaviors.

It made me more empathetic, more intuitive, and more committed to helping YOU heal foreal.

Inner child work matters because without it…
you will continue living life from the same wounds that shaped you, not the version of you God is calling forward.

This is why I do this work. This is why I became the therapist I needed.

If you’re tired of performing strength while struggling in silence, this is your sign to heal.

Not everyone is ready for therapy, and that’s okay. Many of the specific topics discussed in sessions as well as examples of new language and statements are found in the Inner-child Work: Let’s Heal Foreal E-Book. 📕

While I’m in my gray season, I choose this time to get quiet. Sometimes I get in a space with no phone, just my thoughts, pen and paper, sometimes it’s a fast, and sometimes, I’ll create content with no intention and just pray for god to give me the words and then pray I post it lol. This is me trying to find the words to say but never posted it. But no worries, I wrote it out.

I’m still and I’m quiet, and I still don’t have the answer on what to do about the dilemma I wrote about in my latest blog, but I’m also calm and patient.

If you’re interested in joining my journey in real-time, check out my blog on elitetherapy.love

✨ We laugh. We cry. We sing. We heal. ✨

Start the year with a dose of love, connection, and healing at Akendor’s Hoop: A Song Circle for Mothers. This intimate gathering is the first event in our Year of Self-Love series, designed to nurture and uplift women, especially mothers.

At Akendor’s Hoop, we gather in a story-circle fashion as Akendor serenades us with her original songs. Each song is a portal, inviting us to reflect, share, and connect. After each song, participants are encouraged to share the emotions, memories, or insights the music evokes, shaping the genre and topic of the next song shared.

Additional Highlights:
🌸 Mama Swap Table
Every ticket includes a reusable bag for you to fill with mama and baby items you need from our swap table. Bring gently used items to share if you’d like, but it’s not required. Any leftover items will be donated to support mothers in need.

👶 Childcare Available
We encourage you to bring your little ones! Childcare will be provided to ensure you can fully immerse yourself in the circle.

🍴 Light Bites & Beverages
Enjoy complimentary light refreshments and beverages to nourish you as we connect and share.

This is more than an event; it’s a sanctuary for mothers to gather, release, and recharge. Together, we’ll create a space of joy, vulnerability, and shared healing.
