It's a new year, and it's also the perfect time to ensure that no matter what's happening, your brand strategy is focused and crystal clear. . Try this exercise with your team. Have everyone write down the top three strategic priorities of the organization and/or brand right now—without discussing it with each other first. . If your team is like most, you're likely a little scattered. 🙂👀☺️ That's normal, unless you've taken some pretty intentional steps to put together a clear, focused strategy. . If it helps, we have a process for that. 🙂👍

5 Steps to Accelerate Your Business's Growth. . We all know we need to, and we all certainly want to. It's often a matter of figuring out HOW. . Especially right NOW when things are ever-changing and it seems difficult, at times, to get a grasp on where things are headed. . We have a plan. . And you can do this. . It's called our Growth Accelerator, and it's pretty awesome (if you'll allow us to be proud of something we've worked really hard to put together). . It's a holistic approach that you won't find anywhere else. (Seriously. You can shop around. No one else is doing this. And even the folks who are...er..."inspired"...by our products and services from time to time😂—they won't be able to build a knock-off version of this if for no other reason than they don't have the requisite people with the requisite depths of expertise and experience in all these areas. They just don't. We've worked really hard to build our team for this. ☺️👍) . So go ahead. Take a look at the Growth Accelerator. And then give us a call. It's your time to grow.

On this day in 1920, Congress passed the 19th Amendment, which (finally) granted women full and equal voting rights. So now, every year, on August 26th, we celebrate this day as National Women's Equally Day.

Inspiration. Man, that would nice, wouldn't it? With teams scattered all over the place, and uncertainty continuing to plague people to the point of feeling as discombobulated as ever; real leadership is desperately needed.⁣ ⁣ People are looking for leadership, and they're looking for inspiration.⁣ ⁣ And yes, even now, during a pandemic, both can be found.⁣ ⁣ The best leaders do things differently, though.⁣ ⁣ They listen, but they don't just "listen." And believe it or not, they don't just practice "active listening." (More on this in another post in the near future by our teammate, @MattMonge)⁣ ⁣ The best leaders inspire by serving others through how they listen:⁣ ⁣ They listen to emphasize.⁣ They listen without feeling threatened.⁣ They listen in self-awareness.⁣ They listen with gratitude.⁣ ⁣ The best leaders inspire by using joint accountability, and they understand that accountability is a shared thing between two or more people rather than something one person lords over another.⁣ ⁣ The best leaders make sure their teammates feel known as human beings.⁣ ⁣ They also make clear connections between their teammates' work and its worth.⁣ ⁣ And the best leaders inspire others by showing their teams and organizations what success in their roles looks like.⁣ ⁣ What about you all? What tools and tips would you recommend? What have you found useful for inspiring your team's? Let us know!⁣

"Often, I’ve seen folks conflate 'problem-solving' with 'coming up with ideas for stuff.'⁣ ⁣ The latter looks something like this: A person or group of people sit around talking about wanting big ideas. Or something. The problem is that there’s nothing guiding that thinking. There is no direction for all that brainpower. It’s sort of like aimless wandering.⁣ ⁣ Mental meandering, if you will. Clueless cogitating. Deliberative dawdling. Roaming rumination. Haphazard hypothesizing.⁣ ⁣ The best problem-solvers aren’t sitting around just thinking up random ideas about…nothing. Their ideation is focused on particular problems. That aforementioned brainstorming is a means to a particular end."⁣ ⁣ Check out the rest of "Become a Better Problem Solver In 6 Steps by clicking on the link in the bio!

If you’re able to, think back to a time pre-the-current-crisis, when some within your organization (just like any organization) were no doubt bothered about this or that change, this or that problem, or whatever else. . I mean, it almost seems like a different era, doesn’t it? Maybe even epoch? (Geologists, please don’t get upset with me; I’m using those terms colloquially, not technically.) . Times sure have changed. Gosh, I sound like everyone’s parents. . And along with those changes come myriad opportunities. . Opportunities to pivot, to grow, to thrive. . It's the problem solvers who will not only thrive themselves, but also help others do the same. Read our latest post to find out how to make it happen! Click the link in our bio to read it!

We’re quickly learning how important adaptability is, aren’t we? . Organizations, teams, and individuals who are adaptable are having a bit of a better go during this current crisis, at least as it relates to navigating the business portion of it. . It seems that some are perhaps more naturally inclined that way than others, but the truth is that you can learn to be a more adaptable leader or individual. . On oversized Post-It Notes in board rooms all over the country you’ll often see something about the need to develop young leaders.⁣ ⁣ But as the old Scottish proverb goes,⁣ ⁣ If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.⁣ ⁣ In other words, it’s going to take more than hoping and wishing that our respective organizations’ young leaders develop into great leaders. Something — a lot of things, really — have to happen in order for young leaders to realize their potential.⁣ ⁣ What are some of those things, and how can we as organizations and leaders do our part to develop young leaders?⁣ ⁣ Check out our newest post at https://wp.me/p9DtKl-2Js or click the link in our bio to get some practical tips you can start plugging in today!
