✨ We did it! ✨

Pivot Point Circus just wrapped up our first shows at the Brighton Fringe — and what an experience it was!

This was our debut as a company, and we’re proud to share that not only did we break even, but we even made a small profit that’s going straight into the creation of our next show.

A huge thank you to everyone who came, supported, and believed in us. This is just the beginning — and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

We are still at a stage with Clamber where we are thinking of and experimenting with new ways we can bring music creation into our performances. In July, me and Bendy were listening to @cosmosheldrake and were so inspired by how he makes such beautiful and unique sounds from samples. All the percussion, harmony and melody parts can be traced back to some member of the natural world. Thus I grabbed a pen and started frantically writing on our inspo wall all of my favourite noises and later used them to create this short piece. Then we went to St James park and @bendywest filmed me frolicking around like a perfume ad model.

That being said I can feel how this little soundscape set the tone for the visuals.. this is something I’m excited for when we start making full shows with Clamber. And I’m also excited to fully explore how we can use samples from the noises we make during acro -feet landing, hands clapping, sweeping the floor- and create full musical pieces with them.
