🌷Spring has sprung🌷

No matter what the weather looks like, spring technically arrived on Friday! That calls for a special mood board full of spring inspiration ✨️

Book: Of Curses and Courtships

Of Curses and Courtship is a regency-inspired romantasy Cinderella retelling with forbidden love, sizzling chemistry, and twists at every corner.

Read now to break the curse with Ophelia and Emyr.

Inside, you can expect:

A cozy, slow-burning spice romantasy with fae, magical folk, and more!

A unique magic system.

Ballroom tension.

A prince falling madly in love with a maid.

Arranged marriage gone wrong.

Secrets, prophecies, twists, and turns.

This is a spicy, whimsical, wild ride!

Fae main characters meant I went for our:
Fantasy Fae Realm bookmark
Fairy inspired bow
Book of Faerie cross body
And some romance wax melts because the spice in this book will warm you up from any spring chill trying to cool you down, let me tell you 😂😍

Grab everything you see here, book included, at readersleisure.com. You can use the item names I mentioned to find each specific one on the site!

Happy spring, friends!

Reading has been a bit tough for me lately but here are some recent reads that I haven’t had a chance to post a review for yet, and definitely think you should check out!

The Divorced Men’s Club series in the Sadenverse by @saxonjameswrites - I’m having a great time and Art and Joey’s book is what I’m reading right now… they might just be my favorites. Full of the great banter, hot and spicy scenes, and found family - they’re perfect for my nighttime listening.

Time Tripping Over You by @brennon_lane - Time travel, young love, and two of my favorite narrators @andreonthemic and @avi_roque bringing this T4T college romance to life. - a TRR read!

Call Me Indian by Fred Sasakamoose and Game Change by Ken Dryden - two books about hockey both recommended to me by @aribaranwrites - different in context but jarring with the reality of hockey.

Espiritu by @aidenschmaiden - I need to review this one for NetGalley but oh my god it was everything I loved about Cemetery Boys amped up. Julian remains my favorite Angel boy and Yads is just the sweetest. Found family, love, and traditions. Incredible. - finished right before the TRR started

Early reader of two special books from my friends Ari and Elle. Can’t wait for people to experience them like I did.

Anyway that’s what I’ve been reading. What about you? I’m starting But I Hate Him by @pagepowars next for the TRR and @kenthollandwrites’ latest!!

In the spirit of trying new things and also believing that we can put ourselves out there and do scary things - I signed up for a writing class. I haven’t written anything that wasn’t for a school assignment… ever. It starts next week and I’m really excited and nervous and a little scared to fail but mostly? I’m really proud that I did something that scared me.

Shout out to a few very special people: @wintersjulian @adibkhorram @bettycorrello @shaneslilsocks @shanehollanderhockeyplayer24 @elleetheauthor @kristininsull @2ndcityhannah @gretch0405 for being big encouragers of me trying to write!!! And to @thebritneyp @courtney_lynn_8 @calleynotkelly for your support to push me a little bit when I need it and to @rupert.reads for holding me accountable to signing up. And finally, to @shericedoeshair who has always, always, always believed in me.

Let’s start something new. 🩷✍🏻💻📚

2025 wrapped in books📚

Last year was full of books and I’m so happy I got to restart my love for books! I started this account in April 2025 and since then, I have read so many wonderful books and met amazing people 🫶🏻

I read 33 books in 2025, 17 off my target of 50 but I’m back and ready to sink my teeth into my TBR!

How was your wrapped in books?👀
