There’s a reason leg training keeps showing up on the schedule.

Strong legs support balance, stability, power, mobility, and the ability to keep doing the things you enjoy as you get older. Walking, climbing stairs, getting up and down, playing with the kids, carrying what needs to be carried. Your legs are involved in all of it.

Leg day comes around again because your legs need to be trained again.

How are you training your lower body this week?

JrTheGoldenBoy #Sicklecell Trails

Fresh out like Pac in 94
I've been in a very close call recently where my hemoglobin, heart rate, and blood pressure went in scary territory. Resulting in almost a week stay at #suburban hospital with my great medical team that along with my heart refused to let go down the drain I was for sure circling.

3units of Blood
7.5L of fluids
And loads of dilaudid, oxy, and Zofran I was pushed with on clockwork.

Let's take a stroll to see a glimpse into the ordeal.

I'm so grateful to Suge, idk what I'll do without her.
Along with @datboyjohnny1 @davisboxingpromotions @moneyyymax among others checking on me relentlessly in contact with my parents and Suge when I couldn't talk well.

Strong Legs. Stronger Life. | Jump Squats

Jump squats are one of the best exercises for building lower-body power, improving athletic performance, and increasing explosive strength, but only when they're performed with proper form.

Focus on your form:
• Start with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
• Keep your chest up and your core engaged throughout the movement.
• Sit your hips back and lower into a squat until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
• Drive through your heels as you explode upward.
• Swing your arms naturally to generate power.
• Land softly on the balls of your feet, then roll through to your heels.
• Bend your knees as you land to absorb the impact—never lock your knees.
• Reset your balance before the next rep. Quality always beats speed.

Benefits of jump squats:
• Builds explosive leg power
• Strengthens the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves
• Improves balance, coordination, and agility
• Increases cardiovascular endurance
• Supports stronger bones through weight-bearing movement
• Enhances performance in sports and everyday activities
Remember: The jump gets the attention, but the landing builds control. Proper form not only improves your results—it also helps reduce your risk of injury.

This is Strong Legs. Stronger Life.—our weekly series focused on building strength, stability, and confidence from the ground up.

I’ve been pondering about this walk and asking God, “Why are we really doing this?”

At first, I thought it was simply about slowing down because so many women are moving at 100 mph and never making time for themselves.

But then God showed me… it’s deeper than that.

I looked up the word reset and WOW:
“To return back to its original state.”

How many of us tell ourselves:
“I’m going to be patient.”
“I’m going to be kind.”
“I’m not going to react like that anymore.”

Then life happens on a random Wednesday… and suddenly we’re right back in survival mode.

So how do you truly reset?

You begin removing the things that are pulling you away from yourself.

Not adding more.
Removing.

Because resetting isn’t pretending life never happened.

It’s refusing to let what happened permanently disconnect you from yourself.

That’s different.

So this Sunday, we’re starting our reset.
We’re getting aware of what changed, releasing it, and returning back to ourselves 💕

🗣️See you soon. Invite your family and friends! RSVP THROUGH LINK!

“Crawford Said He Was Done… Now He Wants Boots? 🔥 Panel Gets Heated”

Nes shuts it down: “Crawford shitted on the guy saying he’s never going back on his word about retirement” 😭
Caller fires right back: “Crawford wants ALL the smoke with Boots… we know what he’s like!”

The Boxing Voice panel gets spicy over Terence Crawford potentially coming out of retirement to fight Jaron “Boots” Ennis 👀

The countdown is down to 39 days.

You have exactly 5 weeks and 4 days until the summer solstice. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to stop "starting over" and actually commit to a system, this is it.

We don't do seasonal fads. We do a weekly standard that works year-round. If you want to show up in June feeling solid and powerful, your week needs to look like this:

• Mel’s Bootcamp @melodymariefitness
• Starr’s Erase Your Waist (Abs Class) @ellestarr3
• Interval Training
• Yoga
• Youth Speed & Agility Training @raysistance_training2.0
• 1st Saturday Community Bootcamp @therayteamatl

Training + Support:
• One-on-one personal training
• Nutrition guidance
• Accountability coaching

The clock doesn't stop for anyone. You can either be 40 days into a transformation, or 40 days older with the same excuses.

[JOIN THE TEAM] We aren't a big-box gym. We are a results-driven environment. We are opening 5 spots this week for a 3-Day Training Trial.

Comment "JUNE" below or DM me directly. We’ll start with a full Movement Audit to find your baseline and get you moving before the season hits. Let’s work.
