I spent the last 2 1/2 years working with @AJ Harper, one of the most brilliant minds in *everything* prescriptive non-fiction (and fiction too, probably. I just don’t know this side of her as well.)

One of my favorite AJ lines describes how an author (aka, me) feels when you see your book in a reader’s hands…nice! Add in a bunch of bent up pages and highlighted sections…whew! And then, to see the reader actually reading and taking in your work?…dang! It’s true.

The experience really is “like catnip for authors!” -AJ Harper

I came across this shot in a video posted by the bookstagrammer, @ellevated_reading and was delighted to see TIME FREEDOM opened mid-book, with corrugated pages, and on an airplane! (It’s another fantasy for an author to see someone —who you don’t know(!)—reading your book on an airplane.)
