🎵 Rory Ingham’s Trombone Assembly brings together five of the UK’s finest trombonists alongside Birmingham Conservatoire’s outstanding rhythm section to celebrate their long-awaited debut album.

Expect velvety trombone tones, swinging grooves and effortlessly virtuosic playing, as the ensemble reimagines jazz classics including Stardust and Cherokee, alongside original compositions inspired by the greats of jazz.

Last night we performed at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Our two sets included “Appointment in Ghana,” “Parker’s Mood,” “Lemurianos,” “Ugly Beauty,” Chris Crenshaw’s “How Many Tackles Can One Man Break?”, “Giant Steps,” and “Big Fat Alice’s Blues.”

After the concert, many friends and fans came by to say hello. We spent some time catching up and talking with them before leaving the hall.

Today we traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where we’ll perform tonight and tomorrow, October 14 and 15, at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
