Well you managed to pull that back in just over 12 months Fat Boi! 😂 39kg/86lbs/ 6.2 stone down since ‘retiring’ from powerlifting just over a year ago.

The goal changed, the work ethic didn’t. Switched lanes and hit it full on like always. (Even squeezed in a 14 week bulk earlier this year too 😂 madness)

If you want to achieve extraordinary things in life, then you can’t live it ordinarily ✌🏻

🥈 Second strongest U82 in the world for the 2nd year running... Fourth time standing on the Natural Worlds Podium 🌎 consecutively ✨️

Finally getting round to posting the events, swipe for a de-brief on each one for anyone that's here for it 🙌🏽

I said it on my OG post and I'll say it again... I went to worlds this year for gold. I've stood on the podium 3 years prior and walked in as second strongest u82 in the world. I wanted to walk out as #1 this year.

That being said, I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park especially with those events and the caliber of athletes I was up against... it gets tougher year on year and I was under no illusion I'd have to bring my A-game to be in with a chance.

I walked away holding on to my 2nd place title and I think everyone thought I'd be a bit gutted... It couldn't be more opposite... Obviously yes, I was VERY close to getting gold and didn't BUT... I JUST GOT SECOND IN THE WORLD FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING and stood on worlds podium for the fourth year running and BY THE WAY it was fucking solid! 🤣

Coming second to @camilla_fogagnolo and constantly battling with other top class athletes was hard, coming out 2nd in the world is unreal, sharing the podium with the amazon @hhhhhannah__ felt pretty special. Anyone that competed on that floor this weekend WELL DONE... we did something everyone else that didn't stand on the floor couldn't. Whether they didn't qualify or didn't like the events or whatever... it's a wild achievement whatever your placing 🔥

This year I've been the most discipline I've been to date as an athlete, it's been tough both physically and mentally.
@prostrongmanleague prep was heavy and my performance in the states was the best I've ever given. Coming back and winning @dedicatedstrongmangyms_c Liverpools as an open isn't to be dismissed and then heading straight into Worlds prep... It takes grit, discipline, dedication and a want to be the best and I'm so proud of myself for everything I've achieved this year. Not just on the comp floor.

I couldn't have put any of those performances in without my top tier coaching team, who deserve their own post tbh which I'll honour them with 🤣
