Some tests using the latest releases at @alt__tf

Dunno if it's common, but I do a lot of this *while* designing my typefaces – it helps me visualize them in real life applications, see the issues and potential, figure out the necessary glyphs and symbols.

Contextualizing typefaces outside of the classic specimen/specimage has been really helpful in informing the decisions when expanding or working on a typeface, so here's some funky explorations.

Had so much fun creating this! Project design for moms@science. [2|3]

The moms@science project, based at the University of Education in Freiburg, focuses on the target group of innovative scientists with children. It helps to make the stories, challenges, work, and achievements of successful and innovative mothers in science visible and accessible to a broad (specialist) audience.

I am so excited about everything we will develop in the coming year @momsatscience

Access info: We Are Here is a wheelchair friendly space containing 2 chairs with backs and lots of outdoor bench seating. The inside space is small and can get hot on hot days. We are a trans inclusive space and queer owned and we ask anyone attending to be kind to all in the community, it’s Pride after all.
There’s free parking for 2 hours on Victoria Road if there are spaces, we’re a 18 minute walk from Margate train station with a couple of hills on the way. You can take the 34 bus or book a taxi in advance with Central Cars too.
We’ve a wheelchair accessible loo too.
