10 book accounts you should be following ✨💞 I just wanted to do a little post about how appreciative I am of this book community I’m building every day and what better way to do it than shout out 10 of my fave book accounts.. I can’t lie there’s so many more so I’ll do another one soon, so pls don’t feel left out 🙂‍↕️ ily fr fr! when I left the musical theatre community I had never felt so lost. I genuinely lost so many friends overnight that I used to see so many weekends and weekdays & I can’t lie it hit me hard. Then, sadly one of the girls who held us altogether passed away (I miss you every day Lolra T!) and I really and truly did leave that community for ✨good✨… Whilst feeling lost I decided to move back to Southampton where I made lots of pals on my first degree to try and make some more whilst doing my masters, but apart from the gals on my course (ily x) I had never felt more alone.. I was in such a deep dark place, 100 miles away from what friends I had… it was horrendous. I was so sad, every day.. it was wild. Fast forward to August 2025 when I started this account and I swear I have never been accepted into a community of people so quick in my life than I have with my book account. You gals who comment on my posts regularly, message me to check in, ask for commission artwork, celebrate my wins, every single thing have been the greatest group of people I have met (alongside building my little F1 community which also follow this account 🙂‍↕️🙊) I’ll never ever regret starting this account and meeting such lovely people in my life.. it really has been a blessing and I can’t wait to hopefully meet more of you in the future for bookish days in London 🥺🙊 thank you for making me feel seen, I adore you all ❤️ . . #bookish #bookstagram

CURRENTLY READING 📚: The Will of the Many by @jamesislington_author Happy Monday gorgeous people! This book is currently helping to cure my red rising hangover (even though I still think about RR an minimum of 5 times a day 😭) Fun fact: James Islington was inspired to write this book after he read Red Rising 😍 so this was the obvious choice for my next Fantasy read Had to keep these pics in the drafts until I was further into the book because the slump was heavyyyyy since finishing MOURNING Star I’m 35% in and these are my thoughts so far: - LOVE Vis and if anything happens to him, I’m going to riot - Loveeeee Ulciscor and Lanistia but I’m scared that they’re not to be trusted 😭 - I can’t wait to learn more about Vis’ past in Suus - & I’m excited to keep reading because Vis has just got to the academy so shits about to get real Shoutout to my talented friends @ellsbookcornerx on the 10/10 bookmark, that is me to a T! & encompasses my many emotions, and @_abbiereads @insertsbyabbie on the gorgeous kindle insert. I love you both reallllllll bad 🖤 Have you read this?? If so, should I be scared?! Like red rising scared?!! ALSOOO PLEASE GIVE ME MORE FANTASY/SCI-FI/HIGH FANTASY RECS!! I bought so many at the end of last year but I don’t know where to go next…

👩🏻ABOUT THE READER TAG👩🏻 It’s been a while since I’ve re-introduced myself and thought I would do through a book tag! This one was inspired by tk.reads_ 🥰🫶🏻 💭 What format do you read your books in? —> I usually read my books in a physical copy, but love to read e-books on my Kindle too! 💭 How do we choose your next read? —> I usually give myself a few books I know I eventually want to get around to and then choose based on my current mood. I’m in my Romantasy phase at the moment and can’t wait to get through as many Romantasy books on my tbr! 💭 Buy or Borrow? —> I’m trying not to buy as many books at the moment, but I love to buy physical books from bookstores and e-books on Amazon for my Kindle! I really should borrow books to read form my library though 😅. 💭 One or multiple books at a time? —> It depends what the genre is! I wouldn’t be able to read multiple Romantasy books at once (my poor brain would get all the characters and world building confused 😂), but can manage a Romantasy, Thriller, and even a Contemporary Romance all at once if I wanted to 🫶🏻. 💭 DNF a bad book or keep reading? —> I learned to DNF books in 2024 and haven’t looked back since 👍🏻 💭 Physical, audio, or ebook? —> I will always be a physical book girlie but love an occasional ebook on my Kindle! 💭Classics or no? —> Yes and no to the classics—I’m not the biggest fan of it as a genre but love specific books within it, such as Frankenstein 🖤. 💭 Bookmarks or dog ear? —> Oh bookmarks 100%! I don’t know how people dog ear their pages 😖 I’m tagging some book besties to give this a go, but no pressure at all 💜. Feel free to give this a go too if you weren’t tagged but are seeing this in your feed—many of the ones I do come from mine! #booksta #bookstagram #booktag #aboutthereader #introduction 🏷️ Booksta, bookstagram, Booksta community, book tag, book challenge, about the reader, introduction, introductory post, books, bookish, bookish girlie, physical books, ebooks, audiobooks, reading, favourite reads, book girlie, fantasy, Romantasy, thriller, contemporary romance, 2026, March, booksta besties

spreading the love… 📖🧚🏻🩷 this community is so much more than the level of engagement or followers that it creates. it’s about the amazing friends we wouldn’t meet if it wasn’t because of our love for books, and i thank my lucky stars everyday that i can tune into this app whenever i need a pick me up the friends i’ve made on here make my life brighter - especially during the hard times that have tested my perseverance and strength. life would be a lot darker without you guys and certainly lonelier! so to spread the love and light this community brings me, i wanted to share just a few accounts that brighten up feed! it goes without saying that i could create an infinite amount of shoutout posts, but alas insta only allows for twenty slides at a time (sad face) HOWEVER i would absolutely love if you could comment some of your must-follow accounts below to spread the love further ❤️ #bookstagram #book #bookbesties #shoutout #community
