What a wonderful weekend!

A huge thank you to all of our scholars and their families who joined us for our Scholar Reception. It was such a joy to meet and connect with everyone’s families, celebrate our scholars, and share in a time of fellowship together.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

First-Gen Society ≠ First-Gen Student Success
First-Gen Society creates community, connection, and representation. But first-gen student success supports all first generation students🎓

We work together in different ways, through mentorship, resources, guidance, and support to help first-gen students thrive. 🤝

Odyssey and First Gen Scholars!!

Mark your calenders for this semester for Wellness Wednesdays.

Come as you are. Bring whatever is on your mind.

Wellness Wednesdays provide a welcoming space for Scholars to pause, check in, and connect. Through various themes rooted in Elon’s HealthEU framework, we’ll create opportunities to talk about overall wellness and the many things that shape your college experience.

Whether you want to talk through a challenge, celebrate a win, ask a question, connect with a resource, or simply have someone listen, you are welcome to bring whatever is on your mind.

No appointment. No required topic. No pressure.

Melissa, our Well-Being Coordinator, will be there to connect, chat, and listen.

Stories have the power to bring people together.

Congratulations to our P+P team lead, Berenice, on being featured by @elonfirstgens ! 🎉

Power + Place believes every community has stories worth preserving. By listening to one another across generations and backgrounds, we create opportunities for learning, belonging, and lasting impact.

Whether you’re a student, storyteller, or community member, there’s a place for you in this work. ❤️
