Incredibly proud to share the Dragon Head I built for Santa Fe Opera’s The Magic Flute! After a month and half, building in tandem with Dragon mastermind Cheri Vasek and from the incredible foam sculpt by Ellen Bull @ellen.bull the dragon head has come to life! Made of thermoplastic, with a sculpted layer of foam clay, and an incredible paint job by Mona, Jordan @jordaningersolltheatrics and Ren @ren_der_ings . This Dragon has been a labor of love from the entire Properties Department and every single person had a hand in it— So grateful to collaborate with these amazing people to make some magic (flute)!

‘s 2025 recap passion project + an ode to a year he loved VERY dearly ㅤ⭐️

this past year, my biggest pride and most abundant joy was becoming a first-generation college graduate; i completed my BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan, the program and the university i dreamt about ◡̈ <3 looking back (as i did specifically here over and over as this took me ermmmm a few weeks to create, unabashedly…) allows me to reflect on the massive love and support my family and chosen community have and continue to provide daily, and i wouldn’t be anywhere near where i am, living in THEE NEW YORKKKK, without the hands i’ve held, the people i’ve hugged and held on to, and the shoulders i’ve leaned on.

i also said goodbye, across multiple states, to my childhood bestie and dog of 15 years, Lucky 🐾

growing and experiencing a new year is a beautiful blessing, and i’ve learned that it--the start of the year--doesn’t need to be or even feel perfect for you to just keep going, as long as you trust the flowing seasons and cycles of your life. slowing down, relieving your tension, and releasing your breath are key for staying present. looking back is something to look forward to, fr!!

and from now on i post casually!

I will be forever grateful for the past 3 years.
Thank you @michigandaily for the endless opportunities, the amazing friendships, and an unforgettable experience. I wouldn’t be the person or photographer I am today without you. I’ll miss you.

For the rest of photostaff: you have inspired me to see life from a different perspective, to put myself out there even if it’s scary, and to put so much heart and passion into the work I do. You all are so incredible and I’m so glad I had the privilege of working alongside you.
