It was fun and a real pleasure collaborating with friend, neighbor, and yoga instructor @elycesemenec on photography for her website update… and just in time for #newyearsresolutions ;)
✨ I met Elyce in 2019 when I opened my prospect park ymca membership. She holds private, classes, online and outdoor group classes, and corporate classes now. Befriending Your Challenges: Mindful Self Compassion, Meditation and Journaling
Saturday, January 11, 4:30-6:15 pm @thirdrootnyc
Apply self inquiry and meditation tools to identify, and nurture, the source of your feelings.

When you allow all aspects of yourself to be present without turning away, you will have more energy. When you fearlessly excavate your subconscious for emotional challenges, and befriend them, you can develop the empathy necessary to show up fully for yourself and others.

There will be some movement to warm up and activate neural pathways. The focus will be Mindful Self Compassion, guided meditation, contemplation, journal prompts, and deep relaxation.
Bring a journal or sketchbook and pen, or use what will be provided.
