I remember it was a glorious summers day with myself rocking the boombox that was blasting PE's Public Enemy No.1

Back to 1987 when I hooked up the Carlton Lygon street Bowls club wall that got knocked down.
Great memories of some of the heavy hitters of the era coming through and gracing the wall with there art.

15 YEARS DEEP @theartshole

Good art, good crew and plenty of yarns getting thrown around.

Old faces catching up, new heads coming through. Digging up stories from back in the day, hearing a few wild ones for the first time and finding out things about people you thought you already knew.

Mad how art brings all sorts to the same table. Different walks of life, different ways of thinking, but somehow finding common ground through the stuff people make, ideas getting bounced around and all the random chats in between.

15 years of characters, good times, questionable decisions and plenty of creativity thrown into the mix. Pretty special seeing a space bring so many different people together over the years.

Big love and respect to the ArtsHole crew, past and present, for keeping something like this alive.

In 1989
Peril Paris Chase
Were commissioned to paint the stage set up for the
Jimmy Barnes Barnstorming
Aus tour.
This is is at the Broadmeadows aircraft hanger.
They took our art and set all around Aus on a semi Trailer.
Flick through the pics and to see the Vinyl release of the
Jimmy's Last Frontier vinyl
used a pic with our back drop on the back cover art.
Paris actually painted Johnny Diesels guitar as well.
Great times with mates. Claim 2 Fame 1989 stage set

1988 live on the ABC's
Factory music Show
They had a Hip Hop special Live from the City Square.
Feat some of the who's who of the time from Melbourne's writers Bboys Dj's & Mc's and of course the posse in effect.
Here I'm peacing with Paris Looks like Pest Merda and Duel where there and probably more that I can't remember painting that day.
You can still look up the footage on YouTube of that day lol.
Ahh the memories.

Humble beginnings and one of my very 1st outline drawings on the cusp of 83/84 in the Breakin era.
This is the peace myself and Sda member Ms70 did under the Bulleen Rd bridge.
I took the pic with with my instamatic camera but lost the roll of film dam it.
At least I have my original outline to remember it by.

This is my 1st track side peace from 1984 from the Claim 2 Fame book.
Myself and fab snuck out and lent Fabby D's parents car and were driving to the wall, when the boys in blue pulled up alongside us at the lights.
I thought we were goners.
But good ol Fabby D says relax
Mind you he's allready well over 6 feet tall and looked way older than what he was.
He just smiled and waved as cool as a cucumber and the drove off.
That was a close one.

This was the very last photo I found for the book Claim 2 Fame. I triple-checked it at the bottom of a box; it was from an old brown negative I thought was ruined, but it turned out to be the only pic I have of my old crew. Members of Euro Force Breakers from left to right are Spiro, James, Fabby D (R.I.P.), and myself on the far right back in 1984. This pic takes me back.
