[ANNOUNCEMENT] [SHOW] [LIVE RECORD]

Usually people make an announcement when they’re releasing an album, today we’re announcing we’re going to record it.(!) This set we are preparing is a lot of love for the old, and of us dreaming of the new.

Also part of the show is never seen before duo set from Callum Ellis-Mennie & Angus Watt :OO I’m almost more excited for that

We will be playing for you at Casa Obscura by the corner of Papineau / Marie-Anne. This place is one of Montréal’s treasures and it’s a real treat for us to be able to do this here.

When: October 8th // 8pm
Where: Casa Obscura [ 4381 Av. Papineau ]

This show is free to attend :)

Thank you @kasiub for the accurate visualisation !

Every Exit Is An Entrance is out on the internet… and summer is almost over! 😵‍💫

it’s been a strange one, so much happened; i worked and biked and got a concussion and saw a bunch of people and lost some people and travelled all over. and through it all i practiced and performed and listened to so much music! i know i’ve already said it, but thank u for listening (if u do lol). this took me 4 years to make and it felt awesome, even when the years were tough. as my dear friend Shelton once wrote: i love you all, and i love the struggle 💜

BIRTH 8 Performance announcement! (July 26th, 7pm) tickets @birthscreenings bio

A live collaboration by Silas James and Emmanuel Szeptycki combining spoken word, improvised violin, ambient textures, and noise.

Influenced by 1990s underground spoken word/noise performances, this piece explores repetition, animal remains, and deteriorating civic logic. Municipal infrastructure becomes a soundscape of hold music, procedural language, and fluorescent dread. Bureaucratic surrealism gradually overtakes the performance, producing a portrait of a city struggling to process its smaller deaths.

take a peak behind the scenes ✨

90% of Rabbit Rabbit was recorded in one 6-hour session in April 2025 in a tiny room at Concordia.

It was awesome.

also pictured: my pixie that was effectively just a bowl cut :')
