This stack is fitting as I finally started my ACOTAR reread! I know a lot of people are feeling pressured to reread or finish the Maasverse before ACOSH comes out, so here is your friendly reminder that reading is supposed to be fun, not stressful, and you should do whatever tf you want 😄

That being said, I am very excited to reread the series! I read it originally before I was on bookstagram, and now that I own the series I'm really looking forward to annotating quotes & looking for clues about the next books 😊

It’s been almost 48 hours since Ricker Hill and guys… I’m still riding the high. The magic that is Lotti, Cailyn, and @novellabooksmaine is impossible to put into words. 😭

My little book baby has been out for 15 months, and the fact that Saturday was my best signing to date says so much about this book community. Writing books has always been my dream, and there have been a lot of challenges along the way, but you readers… you’re the reason I got here. You guys have given my anxiety-ridden soul so much support and comfort.

I love all of you so darn much. 💜✨

OMG! Can you believe that?! That event was AWESOME! Seriously, thank you all so much for your love, support and your time yesterday! You all braved the wind with us and still made the day so much fun! From helping authors, to organizing the crazy back stock, you made yesterday flow so well for everyone!

It takes a village to set up our biggest event of the season!

We truly couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing volunteers (aka… the bestest gals ever!). We started bright and early at 6:15am and were ready to welcome all of you amazing book babes by 10am! ♥️

And THANK YOU, universe, for giving us sunshine for the entire event! ☀️ After a very stressful week of obsessively monitoring the weather, it all worked out in the end—and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported Novella, our vendors, and all 23 amazing authors. You shopped, chatted, and made the day so special. 🫶

Falling for You with @novellabooksmaine Maine was so much fun! It was great meeting everyone, and we really lucked out with the weather. An apple orchard was the perfect place for a romance book event!

Falling For You

OH MY GOD WHAT A DAY!!! 😭❤️ I seriously had the BEST time at Ricker Hill hanging out with @novellabooksmaine, so many incredible authors (who were SELLING OUT!!!), and so many fellow readers! 📚🍎

I got to help out today, which was seriously SO much fun! I looked at my phone and realized the day was over, and I’m honestly shocked by how little I touched it. 😂 So sorry to everyone at checkout just trying to buy books while I was over here GUSHING about your picks! 😂📚

And gosh, I came home with SO many goodies! I immediately need to update my print wall, find homes for my new stickers, and somehow pretend I have room on my bookshelves. 🫠

I’m already counting down to next year’s event and YES, I am absolutely making more friendship bracelets! Someone just remind me to start making them a whole lot earlier so I’m not up until 3 AM the night before. 😂🧵📚

here in the dark and overcast writing cave, I’m in the middle of the obligatory ‘mid-putting together a book’ freak out for my next novel, ON GUARD — because focusing on it these past few months has me worried it’s something special and that’s SCARY. pulling off a book is scary. knowing what you want to say and saying it? has only gotten marginally easier for me. but flipping through these pages and feeling connected to all of you reminds me that at the end of the fear waits the best part: a book and its readers.

GRIM TIDINGS release day event 💜

to the surprise of absolutely no one, i had an amazing time at the Grim Tidings event last night with BK Borison and Ashley Poston, hosted by @lovestruckbooksandcafe!

@authorbkborison - thank you for coming to Boston to see us (and sorry Ilya Rozanov wasn’t here to greet you when you arrived)

BK is one of my all time favorite authors, and i’ve been practically foaming at the mouth waiting to get my hands on Grim Tidings. i adored Good Spirits, and i have a feeling i’m going to love Grim Tidings even more.

BK & Ashley were both so funny i could’ve listened to them talk for hours. I went with my bestie Grace and also met up with several of my fellow Maine booksta friends 🫶🏼

I got my bedazzled copy of Good Spirits signed, and BK took a photo of it on her phone (which is what she did with my bedazzled copy of First Time Caller that i had her sign at BookCon) so that’s my fun little personal win of the night 😂

Had the best time celebrating the release of Grim Tidings last night! It was so fun to hear B.K. Borison and Ashley Poston talk about their writing process, books, and Damnit the goose. I loved seeing all the fellow book lovers there and had the best time getting some beautiful friendship bracelets from @shemainelyreads and @book.obsessed.jess

Can’t wait for the next one!

No physical flowers but B.K. Borison said her favorite is posies and roses and Ashley Poston said her favorites are hydrangeas!
