Cedar Point 2026! Got superior ratings once again, and the entire day was so much fun. 5:30-11 was rough but worth the while, can’t wait for next year. Video of Die With a Smile at the very end !
Spring concert coming up as well, so many cool opportunities

Congrats Emerson and Go Bearcats! ❤️🖤

College: University of Cincinnati
Majors: Music Education and Flute Performance
Future Career: Band Director

Q: What are you most excited about in college?
A: Enhancing my skills as a musician and as a teacher, working with the incredible faculty at CCM, and making new friends!

Q: What extracurriculars are/were you involved in during your senior year?
A: Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Pit Orchestra, Newark-Granville Youth Symphony, OMEA All-State Orchestra, OMEA South-Central Regional Orchestra, OSU Symphonic Band

Q: What advice would you give to new marching band members?
A: Marching band is hard! Don't get frustrated with yourself if you can't do something right away. Take every opportunity you get to improve yourself as both as a performer and as a person. Keep a positive mindset even if things aren't how you thought they'd turn out!

Q: What is your favorite band/classical piece?
A: Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 “Pathetique”

First student submission!!!
Emerson
Flute Performance & Music Education

Hi! I'm Emerson and I'm from Columbus, OH. I will be double majoring in Flute Performance and Music Education at CCM. When I'm not practicing, I enjoy listening to music (mostly alt, rock, and classical and some pop, rap, and R&B), going out with friends, staying in, crochet, and yapping. I am not looking for a roommate, but I'm always looking for other CCM friends! Don't be afraid to reach out!
