@emeryzbates we’re so glad to have met you last season! You are incredibly caring towards others and you were a joy to be around. Your talented and hardworking attitude brought so much to the section. Never ever forget that we’ll always be there for you! Hope you have an amazing day and happy 24th! 🎊🥳🎂

Ball knowledge is the key to life, even when the football games don’t go the way you want. Blessed to be part of this year’s clarinet section, had a blast through even the longest rehearsal and the slowest game. Shoutout to the Greatest section leaders Of All Time @myaestrada18 and @greatdane.gerous you both have been so fun to be around the last three years, I appreciate everything! Year 3 ✅. 🐝 ⬆️. 📸 @nathanlahip316 @josephkhalifaphoto @sgtjelly

SEASON 4 DONE💛

🤓☝️This was season was like Persona 4 because it was my forth season and it was also carried by friendship 🤓🫩I don’t have much to say since I will very likely still march next year but I will say I’m very fortunate to have a great selection since they are my main motivation to go to band 🙃

I did want to mention that I am very grateful to my first year clarinets Dane and Mya as they helped shape the section and make the clarinets stand out from other sections. I appreciate you both for making hangouts and a friend centric section possible‼️We’re losing some real ones next year 😔

it's been days since the season came to a close yet it's taken me this long to write this. it still doesn't feel real, that i spent the last three months as part of something great, something i'll remember forever. i am honored that i had this opportunity. not only to be a member of GE, but to be a drum major and inspire and lead others in the corps. i treasure everyone i met this season and i'm so, so thankful to all the staff and my fellow drum majors that taught me and always pushed me to be better.

until next year, GE. goodnight.

Man, this season was really something else. To be offered a spot on marimba for the 2023 season was just a dream come true. I really got to live the drum corps dream this season😅. I made so many new friends and memories! To be honest I was never really ready for the season, comps, or anything. You can never be 100% ready for anything and that’s the beauty of it. You never know what’s going to come your way. Good or bad. Although I may not be marching at Golden Empire for the 2024 season, I wish luck to anyone who does. And hope you get the experience I got to have. This corps will always be my home. Go Snake pit🔥🤘🐍
