POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Two BBQs, so many great conversations, and a whole lot of community! ☀️

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of gathering with residents, volunteers, friends, and neighbours for two wonderful community BBQs.

Growing up, BBQs and community gatherings were a big part of my life. My parents believed in bringing people together, sharing a meal, and creating space to connect. Those gatherings have stayed with me because there’s something special about simply being together.

These past two events reminded me of that. It was wonderful to meet so many people, hear your stories and ideas, and learn more about what matters to you and your families.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and campaign team who helped make these gatherings possible.❤️

And a special shoutout to @illicitsoundradio for bringing the music and good vibes to both BBQs, and to @Emilereed for being such a generous supporter. 🙌🏽

And to everyone who came out, joined a conversation, asked a question, or simply stopped by to say hello, thank you. I’m grateful for every conversation and connection.

Here’s to more opportunities to come together, listen to one another, and build community.

All good things must come to an end. @emilereed is moving his training facility (formerly known as The Boxing Loft) to Simcoe and so what has been a fixture in my life every Wednesday and Friday morning at 8am is coming to a close. Coach E is a kind soul who cares deeply about his clients and pushes us when we need it and holds us accountable. He’s always learning and sharing his knowledge. I’ve learned a lot about boxing, mindset and neuro movement thanks to him. I even brought my guitar in one day to assess how I’m holding it. Blessed to have had this place around the corner. I will miss this part of my week. All the best in Simcoe Coach E. They’re lucky to have you! #boxing #personaltraining #neuromovement #parkdale #theboxingloft
