Work this week feels very special for me. 💖✨

I’m currently on the ferry, bags packed, ready to fly to Spain first thing tomorrow to co-facilitate a six-night yoga and wellness retreat with one of my best friends in the whole world.

This really does feel like a dream come true for me.

When I decided to train as a coach, I didn’t just want to be a coach. I wanted to invite coaching into my life as a way of fulfilling this longing I’ve always had to help other people.

At the time, from the outside, everything looked pretty much ticked off. I had a beautiful family, a loving husband, a business we’d built together, a gorgeous place to live, lovely friends, and I’d even just been awarded a first class honours degree in business.

I had so much to be grateful for, but still, something was missing.

Coaching was my attempt to listen to that feeling rather than ignore it, and it has fulfilled a part of me that nothing else work-wise ever has.

I dreamed about doing a retreat abroad one day with Moira, holding coaching circles and offering 1-1 sessions alongside her beautiful offering of yoga, movement and meditation. I put it on my vision board, talked about it, believed it would happen one day… and then Moira asked me! If I’m being honest, way before I felt ready!

But she trusted me. She believed in me. And she’s a pretty incredible woman to have believe in you. 🥰

We’ll also be joined by the lovely Emma, who I can’t wait to finally meet in person and share this experience with. 💖

So here I am, actually living out something I once imagined, trusting myself, believing in myself and allowing myself to fully be me.

After spending the last few days as a complete bag of nerves, flapping, replanning, overthinking and wondering whether I’d prepared enough, something has shifted.

It’s done, I’m packed and I’m on my way!

There’s nothing left to do now except trust myself, relax and enjoy the journey. And that feels pretty bloody amazing. 💖✨

Thank you Moira, for trusting me with something so special.

Spain, here I come! 🇪🇸☀️

For so long I’ve let others dim my light.
I’ve allowed other people make me feel less than.
That I shouldn’t be doing what I do.

Especially in this industry.

But I am proud of what I do and what I offer.
I am immensely proud of the teachers I’ve trained.
And I am excited for all of those who have yet to walk this path.

If you’re curious to become a teacher or do your yoga teacher training for yourself, don’t let anyone or anything tell you that you can’t.

This world needs more of our light.

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Emi came to Essential Oils for Yoga Teachers wanting one thing. Genuine confidence to blend her own way, not follow a script.

She left with a lot more. A monthly ritual tied to Traditional Chinese Medicine. A Savasana temple rub her students still ask for. And a whole new business, Scent and Serenity, built around helping women truly rest.

She's now rebranding as EmiLouEmbodied, with a focus on midlife and menopause.

This is exactly why we built this course. Not to hand you a script. To give you the knowledge to trust your own hands.

Follow Emi's next chapter @EmiLouEmbodied.

Who’s else isn’t quite ready for summer to end? ☀️

The children are heading back to school, the routines begin again, and before we know it, the colours of autumn will be arriving 🍁

But what if you gave yourself one last week of sunshine?

A week where someone else cooks for you.

Where your only job is to wake up, move your body, enjoy beautiful food, read by the pool, wander to the beach, have long conversations with wonderful women, laugh, rest, and simply breathe.

If you’ve spent the summer looking after everyone else, as a parent, grandparent, carer, partner, or simply the one who always holds everything together, perhaps it’s your turn now.

In just 4 weeks, we’ll be gathering in the beautiful Spanish countryside for The Sacred Connection Retreat.

A week of yoga, somatic movement, coaching, cacao, mantra, nourishing food, sunshine, connection and deep rest.

✨ 16–22 September 2026
📍 Benissa, Spain
💛 Just 5 spaces remaining
🏡 Shared rooms from £1,295

Maybe this is your invitation to let someone else take care of you for a change.

If your heart whispers “yes”, we’d love to welcome you. 🤍

I’ve been sat here thinking how is this my life?! 💖✨

Everything isn’t perfect, but nothing truly beautiful if right?

I have my own health (touch wood!), healthy happy children (and grandchildren!), a husband I adore @mr.yummy.iow , friends I love, fulfilling flexible work and I live in my favourite place in the world.

Well, the sensible answer is that it’s down to a mix of good fortune, hard work, always approaching life and others with love and respect, some pretty big risk taking and sheer determination.

But I also believe there’s a big smidge of manifestation from asking for it and believing it’s possible, together with a sprinkle of magic. ✨💖

The energy I feel sat here, only 9 miles from home, listening to the waves and feeling the heat of the sun and warm breeze on my skin is incredible.

The beauty and abundance of nature and joy of life feels like it’s glowing golden all around me. 💛✨

Definitely feeling this goddess Lakshmi energy today:.

“When we have Lakshmi we have everything, inner and outer, for a beautiful life.”

So what better place and time to work on some retreat planning for Spain in September…

It’s going to be so special @newthoughtsnewfeelingsembodied @emilouembodied . 💖

There’s just a couple of spaces left.

Having been on retreats all over the world, I can honestly say, it’s not the packed schedules that stay with you.

It’s the moments where you finally exhale.

Where you feel like yourself again. Where you find yourself in the amazing energy of other women 🤍

That’s what this retreat is built around.

Space.
Connection.
And coming home to yourself. I am so excited to be sharing space with the beautiful women already booked in and would love for you to join us 💕

We have just 4 spaces left in beautiful Benissa in Spain, so whether your thinking about coming on your own or bringing a friend we have got you 🤗

Question….Would you come to a retreat on your own?

I did ☀️

My first yoga retreat was to Ibiza in 2018 (here are some pics). I didn’t know a single person. I remember feeling nervous, excited, and wondering if I’d made the right decision.

I left with friends for life. Laura, Lou, Karen, Jules, Louise amazing women that I still see and speak to all the time 🧡

It’s hard to put into words how much that retreat gave me, friendship, confidence, strength, space, laughter, rest. A remembering of myself.

At the time, I had a senior role in the NHS and a private psychotherapy practice. I was exhausted. I needed a break from constantly holding everyone else.

Yes, I left my husband and children at home … and my pup 🐶 Winston 🤍
And no, I didn’t feel guilty.
I needed it.

I didn’t know this at the time, but I needed to be with women in a loving, supportive space. No competition. No judgement. Just connection. Joy 🥰

I needed time to read, to journal, to sunbathe, to chat, to breathe.

And I got all of that and more.

Funny enough, the thing I was MOST worried about was the food 😂
It was my first time eating vegetarian food and I genuinely thought… what if I don’t like it and everyone thinks I’m weird for not being veggie?!

OMG. The food was incredible. Retreat chefs seriously know what they’re doing.

So if you’re unsure, a little scared, wondering whether to come alone… I promise you, it might just be one of the best things you ever do.

So, if after reading this, your heart is whispering “maybe I need this too…”come and join us. Your room, your rest, your people are waiting ✨🤍

Drop a message below or me a DM, follow the link in the bio to the website for all the info - I can’t wait to meet you 🏝️🌊🤍☀️

🏝️☀️🧘‍♀️📿🙏🏼One of the things I’ve really taken from all the retreats I’ve been on is how powerful the in-between moments are.

Not just the yoga.

But the slow mornings.
The conversations over the long table while eating delicious wholesome food.
The quiet moments by the pool, or the not so quiet moments of laughter and connection 🤍

The space where you’re not being rushed from one thing to the next.

That’s something I’ve intentionally created in Spain 🇪🇸

A rhythm that allows you to soften, not perform.

To rest, not keep up.

To connect, not just attend.

We have just 7 spaces left on this women only retreat✨
We have payment plans available and details of flights. Drop me a message if you want to have a chat about anything retreat. It would be so amazing to hear from you.
All my love Moira xx

For years I thought yoga was about becoming more flexible…

I used to push and force my body. I was competitive with myself and compared my flexibility with others in the class

Thankfully, since returning to it with an injury and poor health a few years ago, it’s become about something else entirely.

It’s now about becoming more present.

It’s one of the very few times where my mind finally quietens enough for me to hear myself again.

No emails.
No mental to do list.
No trying to solve everyone else’s problems.

Just breath.
Movement.
And me.

It’s amazing what you hear when you finally create enough space to listen.

Thank goodness I can now

That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about our retreat in Spain this September.

Because we’ll be creating the space that so many women never give themselves.

Space to rest.
Space to reflect.
Space to reconnect with who they are underneath all the roles they carry.

Without pressure to perform or push or compete with ourselves or others.

If you’ve been craving that kind of space, I’d love you to join us. ✨

Message me for details.

☀️ Meet the women behind The Sacred Connection Retreat ☀️

This retreat has been created by three women who are passionate about connection, embodiment, growth, rest, and creating spaces where women can simply be themselves.

🤍 Moira – the heart behind New Thoughts New Feelings Embodied. Psychotherapist, Yoga Teacher & Somatic Movement Facilitator

💚 Nancy – Life Coach, helping women reconnect with themselves and discover clarity, purpose and self-trust.

🌈 Emma – Yoga & Wellbeing Coach, bringing mantra, cacao, creativity, music and magic to our opening evening.

Together we’ll be holding a 6 night experience of:

✨ Yoga, Yin & Somatic Movement
✨ Shake the Dust & Embodied Rest
✨ Coaching workshops & 1:1 coaching
✨ Cacao Ceremony & Mantra
✨ Essential oils workshop
✨ Beach & market day
✨ Live music & dinner in town
✨ Beautiful food prepared by our private chef
✨ Plenty of time to rest, laugh, connect and simply be

This retreat has been inspired by years of retreats I’ve attended from India to Ibiza, Wales to the Lakes and my desire to create the kind of retreat I always longed for, one with more connection, more rest, more meaningful conversations, and more opportunities to come home to yourself.
