It was so hard not to talk about this on here, but two years ago I actually worked on the Michael movie for about three weeks total. For two of those weeks, I got to watch Jaafar perform as Michael Jackson, and it was completely surreal. The presence he had on stage was mind blowing, and everyone was in shock because it genuinely felt like we were at an actual Michael Jackson concert. You can actually spot me for a moment during the concert scene when he is singing Human Nature and I’m crying haha.

I also filmed multiple other scenes, including the Studio 54 scene and the ambulance scene. I will never forget when I was asked if I was available for two weeks of filming concert scenes and was trying to figure out what it was for. They said they needed fans who would faint and go insane, and I immediately knew it had to be Michael Jackson. If you know me, you know I am a HUGE Michael fan, so this was truly a dream come true (the 3rd clip is literally me at 9. All I talked about was Michael Jackson LOL).

I also met an amazing group of friends on set and for two weeks straight, we spent 12 plus hours a day together without our phones, which made the experience even more memorable. All of this was a dream come true, the movie was absolutely incredible, and all of this was definitely one of the best experiences I had in LA. But stay tuned… cause I know there’s a lot more that will be coming soon 👀

What a time to be alive. We started 2025 with a hike at Eaton Canyon (yes, the one that burned down a week later) and ended it with rainy gyoza-making and Rumikub.

I got marginally better at tennis, witnessed my tiny niece get big, went off the grid a couple of times, and saw the dentist every Tuesday in October.

Los Angeles, America and the planet are evolving and so are we. Thank God for wonderful friends and family to make it all worthwhile. Here’s to 2026 adventures 🥂
