Introducing Project Bacchus. 🤎

Proof that a neutral palette can still carry depth and character. Warm wood tones, layered creamy textiles, cognac leather, sculptural lighting, and playful artwork create contrast through materiality, proportion, and texture rather than color alone.

The result is a space that feels relaxed, collected, and intentionally layered.

Before & Afters will forever be our favorite. There’s something so satisfying about looking back at where a space started and seeing just how much thoughtful design, detail, and work went into completely transforming it.

This kitchen feels like a whole new home. 👏🏻

One of my favorite parts of last night happened before Brittany Kellogg took the stage.

I love being able to give her the tools she needs to stay feeling her best while she’s out on tour. We laughed, took some pictures, did a few pre-show Peps, and then enjoyed an incredible night of live music. She’s not only so talented but also hilarious and will keep you thoroughly entertained all night!

I love seeing women prioritize their health while chasing big dreams. Taking care of yourself isn’t just for the slow seasons—it’s what helps you keep showing up and doing what you love. So proud of you, Britt. What a fun night and such an incredible show. 🤍🎤✨go see @britneekellogg ❤️❤️ fueled by @daytrypwellness

Hard truths from your interior designer… in the nicest way! 😊

The best design decisions aren’t always the quickest, cheapest, or the most Pinterest-worthy.

A well-designed home is about having a plan, investing where it matters, and creating a space that feels like you, not a collection of trends.

We’re here to guide you and help you avoid expensive mistakes!

Every project starts with the same question: How do we want this home to feel?

For this Dunthorpe remodel, the answer was warm, playful, and made to be lived in.

Our clients, creatives themselves, brought bold ideas to the process including a Mondrian-inspired built-in.

Together, we leaned into color blocking, soft curves, rich wood tones, and thoughtful details to create a home that feels unmistakably theirs.

The best homes aren’t the ones that demand attention. They’re the ones that couldn’t belong to anyone else.

We’re all settling into summer mode, but here’s the coziest cabin in Central Oregon to enjoy when you find yourself missing crisp fall days and snowy winter weekends. Designed & styled by my gals at @house.of.milo ✨

Our new Tetherow project with @lightfoot.architecture is officially underway, and we’re so grateful to be apart of it. ✨

Tucked back off the main road with golf course access, this three structure home is being designed around a peaceful zen garden at the center.

Thoughtful, serene, and already so special. More to come!

Hey friends! We’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but we’re back and it feels so good!

We’re excited to start sharing more of House of Milo with you. The design process, our projects, the people we get to work with, and all the moments in between that make it so special.

If you’ve been here from the beginning, thank you. We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to show you what’s ahead.

Some things just get better with age. 🪵

We pulled back the laminate in this 1940s Bend home today and found original hardwood floors hiding underneath…completely intact.

This is exactly why I always say: don’t assume what’s under there. Sometimes the best feature in the house has been covered up for decades.

If you’re buying in Central Oregon and want someone who knows what to look for — I’m your person.

Welcome Home Love @emilypdx
