3 years ago I used my Greytown window to encourage critical thinking at an important time.
We're there again.
I have no window anymore.
I have this space.
While I make my views pretty well known here (as a business this can be tricky!) I also just want folks to know their voice matters. I want folk to think bigger than themselves.

Voting matters.

I don't have a huge youth following these days, but if you ARE In the 18-25 range. Your voice matters.
Vote like you mean it.
Don't be like me at 19 and vote stoned for Kent Clark because he had a funny name.

National MP Tim Costley is going hard in Plimmerton for the new Kāpiti electorate this general election - his party has deep pockets. The August polls show a tight race with the Labour candidate Sophie Handford with the Green Party campaigning for the PARTY vote.

Tim has refused to meet anyone about Palestine including Palestinians in his own electorate, since DAY ONE.

He's told us more civilians have been killed in Ukraine but refuses to show the numbers. He supports sanctions on Russia but not Israel. He's told us his party always cooperates on statements made about Gaza put out by our 'like-minded' countries. He believes the future might show that the US was right to attack Iran after it murdered 120 school children.

Tim also says it's not his job to care about what happens internationally, only what's happening locally. It's like he doesn't understand how the world works. And it's like he only cares about white faces. Church on Sunday. Giving genocide a free pass every other day of the week.
