Do you ever succumb to despair or loneliness trying to create community that aligns to your values, and allows you to show up in your wholeness, body, mind and spirit? WELL ME TOO kapwatid! Fret no further: Tita Jorji’s Spirit Detective Agency is hereeeee! 👻❤️‍🩹 Come to our opening this Thursday 5-9pm @werklundcentre in the +15 galleries and check out our full suite of services: • un-gaslighting and affirmation treatments • kapwa tarot divination • tsismosa spa and mahjong sessions (all levels welcome) • compassionate spirit re-alignment for wayward allies and non-profit workers • systems literacy coaching • and so much more! Don’t be shy! We’d love to hold space with you, hear what you’re experiencing and help you map it all out. We’re here all summer - direct message me to set up a time-space that works for your complex needs 🔮 There’s no cost to accessing support, but donations are accepted gratefully (though not expected) ✨ Maraming salamat to our curator @wilmerphotography and @queerartsyyc and to @leannabarwick whose essay “What Refuses to Disappear” is currently translated on our community mysteries web-map! To read their essay check out @thesaag and its 2025 Arts Writing Prize publication for accounts of many other unsolved artist-care mysteries 🕵🏻‍♀️ Our agency is continually nourished by relational culture and practice. The installation utilizes a majority of materials re-processed from Diwata Ringz presented @the_new_gallery . We are deeply grateful for our benefactors, including @neondaandaan , @weavingbruha , @zasanja , @pamtzeng and many others. We ask the ancestors to bless Hing Wah Imports in Chinatown for their contributions to culture and belonging my entire life here in Mohkinstsis 🀄️💞

Beloved fey spirits of the seen and unseen worlds, I beckon theee: come to our launch party for FOUR fresh new issues of “From the QILT2BAG+” this Wednesday June 10 7-9pm @shelflifebooks , with readings and performances by @cinicstudio @dj.eggboy Patricia C and myself I’m so grateful to Kait for allowing me to share work in two issues - she emanates the kindness of Green Tara. These are deeply intimate and personal pieces for me, braiding my corporeal body with everything that I love in all the dimensions. Issue 11: Ancestors - WWJDD? (what would JD do). If you share community and relations with me, you’ve likely heard me speak lovingly of my friend JD Derbyshire, who now travels through many worlds beyond ours. I will spend all my days communing with their wisdom, unfailing kindness and magnficent spirit, looking for their presence within those with whom I create community. For the launch I will welcome folks to share a few words about the love and lessons gifted to them by their queer ancestors (the living, the more-than-living and of course the imagined). Issue 10: Queering the Body - BATIKAN. When I return from our queer diasporic future, my ancestors (including JD) will recognize me by the shapes and patterns of virtue and skill adorning my skin. This presents a rather complex design challenge for the Now-Me and a ghost body that cannot hold tattoos. Thank you to all of the artists who contributed their brilliance to “From the QILT2BAG+” - it’s an honour! You can obtain copies of all issues by visiting the link in @ksc_hatch bio to her website shop 💕
