From the commute to the table 🚇➡️🧘🏾‍♂️

Yesterday I headed down to @stretchlab for a full-body assisted stretch with @emma.sng and honestly, I walked out feeling like a new man.

Emma went went head to toe, spending extra time on my legs and back (the two areas tennis punishes most), but checked everything along the way. Calm, precise, really knew her stuff. As a physio myself, I don't hand out that compliment lightly 👏🏾

Here's the bit I want my tennis community to hear 👇🏾

Most club players train hard and recover lazily. We'll play three sets, bang out a drill session, then jump straight in the car. Then we wonder why the hamstrings are tight, the lower back is grumbling and the shoulder "just doesn't feel right."

Maintenance isn't a luxury — it's part of the training:
✅ Regular stretching keeps your hips, hamstrings and back moving freely for those wide balls and low volleys
✅ Active recovery (light movement, mobility, easy cardio) helps you bounce back between sessions
✅ Treating your body like equipment you look after = fewer niggles, more time on court

Better players without broken bodies. That's the whole philosophy 🎾

Big thanks to Emma and the @stretchlab team for having me, go show them some love 🙏🏾

Have you got a recovery routine, or are you a "skip the cool-down" player? Be honest 😅👇🏾

I haven’t climbed for years, I was a bit comprehensive right at the beginning as I love running so much and didn’t want anything happening to my precious foot. I told myself to take easy and watched the experts, not rushing and doing it slowly. The skills and technique soon came back from my memory and I tackled the easier climbs, really enjoyed the experience. I shall be back, no doubt. Thank you Billy who looked after me and shared some tips with me. I did spotted out some spider men snd spider women who were extremely competent. They must have practiced for years. It was really fun though, can’t wait doing it again😜 📹Eli 📸 Billy #climb #technique #skill #movement #atmosphere #vibes #fun #challenge #efficiency #savingenergy #planahead #strategy #strength #legwork #handgrib #coordination

Really nice to see @zoeclapp @harrytsh @michelle.mac @emma.sng @im__jym Kiera and others at the run 😊 #run #running #grouprun #buns #happyeating #nicemorning #kneadforspeed

Rewinds were a goal this season and while my progress is a little late, I’m looking forward to a summer of stunting because better late than never ☀️
