What a run for Take Me Home County Road 🤠

A huge congratulations to the brilliant cast, crew, and creative team on a fantastic four weeks at Liverpool's Royal Court, and thank you to everyone who joined us down County Road!

This final week also included a very special tribute to Dolly Parton, with the cast ending the show with a gorgeous rendition of Islands in the Stream ♥️

It's been a proper joy to share this one with you!

We always love having guests on @indemandradio and celebrating scousers who are smashing life and this morning - I think @thatjohnmay and I had one of my fave ever guests @adamjamesmccoy 💙

Adam is no stranger on stage @royalcourtliv but he’s made his debut as a writer with Take Me Home County Road and it’s receiving 5 star reviews and nightly standing ovations 👏 ⭐

The script captures every bit of scouse humour, with a perfectly chosen soundtrack and a superbly talented cast, not only vocally, but with perfect comic timing from @helenmarymonkey @keddysutton @lennyjosephwood and Eithne Browne complete with his dream director @emmabirddirector 👏

Adam is an absolute delight, ooozing with talent and enthusiasm and I hope this is the first of many shows of his we see 🎭

PS Thanks to @joolzwooly for the pics and footage 🤠
