🎧 THE A&R REPORT — SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

1. @simayaheals — “endless.”
Dreamy, intimate and emotionally open. SiMaya brings a soft R&B approach that feels effortless while still leaving an impression. “endless.” is the type of record that gets stronger with every replay.

2. @akiravocal — “luv u right”
Smooth, vulnerable R&B built around emotion and atmosphere. “luv u right” puts akira’s voice and feeling at the center, giving us one of those records made for headphones and late-night playlists.

3. @safa.wav — “shoulda known better.”
There’s something immediately relatable about this one. SAFA turns hindsight and complicated feelings into a record that feels personal without losing its replay value.

4. @astnmusic — “Didn’t Want It This Way”
ASTN taps into the side of R&B where vulnerability wins. “Didn’t Want It This Way” carries the weight of a relationship reaching a place neither person expected.

5. @yoitstmera — “No Games”
Straightforward title, straightforward energy. Tmera makes it clear she isn’t interested in mixed signals on “No Games,” delivering a confident R&B record with attitude.

6. @reallygaelle — boss up EP
Gäelle gets a project spotlight this week with boss up. Across the EP, she brings confidence, personality and a clear sense of where she wants her sound to go. One to spend some time with beyond the lead track.

7. @ikea.damone — “Do to Me”
Warm, sensual and melodic without trying too hard. Ikea Damone’s “Do to Me” has the kind of smooth R&B energy that can slide naturally into your rotation.

8. @lostgirl.official — EGO
Lost Girl gives us more than a single to evaluate this week. EGO is a full project statement, with records like “NO EGO” opening the door to a darker, emotionally charged side of contemporary R&B.

9. @emmani — “how fast?”
Emmani brings personality and a refreshing feel to “how fast?” There’s an ease to the record that makes it immediately accessible while still leaving room for her identity to come through.
