As we prepare to crown our new titleholders tonight, we want to take a moment to say thank you to our incredible reigning Miss Utah Volunteer and Miss Utah Teen Volunteer. 👑💙 Thank you for an unforgettable year of service. Thank you for the countless hours, appearances, miles traveled, lives touched, and memories made along the way. You have represented our organization and the state of Utah with so much grace, dedication, and heart. We are beyond grateful for everything you have poured into this year and for the legacy you leave behind. While the crowns may be passed on tonight, the impact you have made will continue long after your reign ends. ✨ Emma and Tatum, we love you, we are proud of you, and we cannot thank you enough for the way you have served this year. Once a titleholder, forever part of our family. 🤍

@laurensalimbene truly is an angel, I wish I could express just how much she’s changed my perspective & my life in words but I’ll surely try!! 😉 I remember the day I met Lauren at our first workshop, I knew I wanted to know her, I knew I wanted her as a friend. I asked her a million questions & we talked & shared so much. I felt so blessed to be able to make a best friend so quickly, she believed in me, loved me, and supported me. Unfortunately I was not able to compete that year, instead I was in life saving surgery, BUT Lauren earned the Title of Miss Utah Volunteer… proud is an understatement. Next day she made the time to visit me at primary’s, sat with me, cried with me and that moment made me realize just how much I needed a friend like her. Watching her hold a state title was incredible, she served amazingly. Then she went on to compete for Miss Volunteer America… shocker, she won!😉 She is so deserving.. i decided to work hard, push my self, and believe in something bigger than me. My why. Earning the title of Miss Utah Volunteer has been an absolute honor, but it was so special to have one of my best friends crown me, support me, and serve together. Thank you Lauren for being who you are. I look up to you! & I love you!🤟🏽

@missutvol @emmanshelton and I both have such a personal connection to Primary Children’s Hospital. This was a service project Emma chose, supporting families as they leave the hospital and head back home, which isn’t always the easiest transition. We both know that feeling firsthand, so getting to be on the other side of the donation means so much to us. I love this organization, and I especially love Emma for choosing this one. 🤍 Such a sweet way to start the week!

Miss Utah Volunteer Day 2 Pt. 2 The BEST part about the Miss Utah Volunteer program is the sisterhood through service. It is incredible to watch so many women come together to serve. We had the incredible opportunity to help with a project for Primary Children’s hospital. What an honor to be surrounded by such service-hearted women.
